Minna looked down at the small coin, then reached in her pouch, and pulled out a small metal clip, which she usually used on her feet during rubdowns. she pinched the edge of the coin and twisted, finally retrieving the coin from between the stones, it was just a small copper coin, worth 1/100th of the value of a gold coin..Minna took the copper coin and gave it to Plythia , then reached inside her pouch and handed her a few other coins, a mixture of gold and silver coins. 'Here take these coins.. you need them more than i do' Minna said kindly.

I'll see if I can find those colors for you" Ilsa said, and she walked off into the wealthy section of town.. returning a half hour later carrying two beautiful dresses, one a pale pink, the other was a clear blue.. "Here you go.. I couldn't decide which you'd like better.. so I got you both of them.." Ilsa said "Now which one would you like to try on first?' She asked the stunned Uruca..

Its a clip I use to hold my feet down during massages.. i get excited when the massause relives a lot of tension, and my feet thrash about... the clips hold them down..."Minna said..

"That's... odd. I've seen countless females in my temple, and none of them get like that... not during a massage, not even during mating." Vespion told Minna.

Rhiga responded to the questions. "I have over a dozen. Mother may have had another when I was gone. We can only get one or two more out of the city..."

Jake moved over to Sasha, seeing that she was very hot. "Can we get to some shade? Sasha isn't built for the heat like you Dracons are. Even Rex is getting a little overheated..."

After some more walking. Marcus noticed an house that looked like it would serve as a place to rest. This place was a bit better than those around it. Walking inside, he relaxed as cooler air hit him.. ' In here" he called out to the others..

Arianne was with Ilsa and Minna, and with Rhiga's sisters - "All those nice dresses are great, you all look lovely." - she said to Rhiga's sisters while they were trying their new outfits. After that, she also got to buy some new clothing for her, using some of the spare money Eriol has.

There aren't many places to buy clothing that are not of the Dracon style, but Hekaga did have more variety than other cities, so it was relatively easy for Arianne to find clothing for the style of foreign races, so she did buy a couple of new dresses, like the one she had when she arrived to the Dracon lands: a large one-piece dress, those cover the shoulders and go down to the Panther's knees, one dress is color blue and another pink.

(OOC: Please try to make your plot points make more sense. People can't just walk into random houses! I had to come up with some far-fetched justification for it this time...)

Hekaga was a horrible place to visit, and an even worse place to live. Still, it had it's advantages. The house the party was in belonged to a dissident who dared to challenge the government. After he was taken and executed, his house was sacked by looters. The door was left ajar, and everything of value had been stripped from the domicile.

Still, it was an okay place to stay, especially if one needed to get out of the sun's heat. Furthermore, Hekaga's status as a major cloth production center made it easy to find new clothes, as long as one didn't mind the fact that the cloth used to make the textiles came from sweatshop labor. Arianne could find new clothing easily if she so desired.

Kuja sat on the cool floor, brushing a stray hair out of his face.
"I guess that in some sense...I'm to blame for all this. If I hadn't done as he had asked..."
"You would have been dead, and no use to anyone, Kuja."
Akio cut him off, standing beside him calmly.
"Besides. This is perhaps a way that we can...gather information on what the Dark one is planning."
He added, as Kuja looked up at the others.
"I suppose I should tell you what the Dark Seeds are, shouldn't I?"
He asked Adykon and Marcus, as well as the others...

Marcus sat back as Kuja began esxplaiining himself. They would not stay in here long, just long enoug to cool down. once everyone had cooled off then they would move on..

"He is my former master. Demorus. Through him, Akio, myself, and others gained the power of darkness. The Dark seeds were his way of...expanding his power, even while sealed. They were magically placed in those he wanted to control, and over time, would gradually drain their soul and replace it with his will. That is why the current state of so many cities is how it is. The only way to stop them is to either kill the hosts, or to kill him..."

In truth, the prince was a pawn of Dememoras; Hekaga's king was NOT under the control of the dark master... but the previous king, and the one before that all had a similar affliction. They helped reduce the city to this, although it was well on its way to this sorry state...

The other settlements that were as dark as this one were all small and petty. Hekaga was by FAR the largest one to be degraded like this one.

so these Dark seeds are one of the causes of Hekaga being in such a mess " Ilsa pursed her lips together.. "Others include the leaders allowing them to decay to such a state.. "screw the poor I've got mine" type of thinking' Ilsa continued.. Granted many other nobles thought that way in other cities, but in Hekaga it wasn't covered by a veneer, it was unabashed and brazen. this had been an eyeopening experience for both noble Dracons.. this experience would haunt them for a long time..

"Well, seeing as how I was forced to leave this city... I have not seen them in a long time... but they still love me as much as if I had seen them yesterday..." Rhiga told the group. "We have a long way to go. My oldest half-sister works in a small temple. I'm not sure we can convince her to leave."
