"what the hell!?" yelled Jake "Sasha Selturma get behind me and rex!". Jake and Rex both drew their swords "get back, i know how to use this". Jake was trying to scare off the Dracons even though he knew that adult dracon males would not be scared of two little kids that had swords...

And they were not scared. Not at all. The Dracons ganged up on Jake and Rex. Selturma was unable to do much to hold them back; it was all she could to do avoid their blows and blades.

Jake held his sword in his left hand and he used his right metal hand to punch one of the dracons in the chest. It knocked the dracon off balance and Jake then kicked the dracon and then it fell over backwards

Sasha paused for a second "well...okay...." said Sasha, Sasha began chanting some words klaatu berata nikto (just had to put that in from evil dead, lol

). There was a bright flash and the dracons were now blinded. Sasha fell to the ground and was extremely weak from the spell cast. Jake ran over to Sasha and he lifted her onto his back.

The youths managed to run into a new neighborhood. They needed a place for Sasha to rest and recover her magic. A teenage girl's body was too weak and soft to cast magic spells of high power level... and that flash was so bright that had it been any brighter, the Dracons attacking her would have been permanently blinded.

The good news was, a temple was found nearby. Surely, it would be a place for Sasha to rest in.

The doors of the temple were open for all. They let Jake and the other youths in. The temple building was made of dark gray stone, with the image of a long-tailed Dragon carved over the wooden doors of the entrance. Inside the temple, it became apparent that there were no windows; all of the light was generated by glowing red orbs, making the rest of the room look like it was drenched in bloody light... the effect was somewhat disorienting.

Looking around the temple, Selturma noticed that it was unusually small, but very ornate. Golden statues of Dragons lined the halls, intricate stone carvings of various religious scenes adorned the walls, and there were gems encrusted into the seat of the temple's high priest.

But this was not an ordinary temple; it belonged to a minor yet potent deity worshiped by the Dracons... a god of power... and blood.

Arianne looked at Ilsa. - "Lady Ilsa, I wanted to ask you a favor... of a personal nature." - she said kind of uneasy due to all the things she has seen in this city. - "You may know that we Gaeans cannot procreate all year-round like you Dracons and Humans can, we have a 'Mating Season' that is our chance to get kids. I-I wanted to ask, since you have good spells: can you help me... check if I am waiting for my second child?" - After saying that, a bright smile appeared in the female Panther's face.

"The kids? I don't know much about this area... but whatever is in Hekaga, we have handled worse, I am sure." Vespion replied. "After that run-in with Asthia, I highly doubt that Hekaga's streets can match anything we have ever faced."

Eriol heard the replied and gave a small laugh - "I guess you are right, I am just worrying too much." - Eriol indeed found that amusing, he is not the kind of guy that worries too much about people.

Arianne looked at Ilsa - "I am not worried about Eriol, because he would never do anything against me... I may even say that he would get more worried of what I could say." - She said with a smile, she is feeling a bit more relaxed now. - "I don't know what would be best for you, but what I'd really like is to keep this as a secret, for now, until I can be sure to know if I am really pregnant or not."

' Ilsa reached out and put her claw on Arianne's belly, and then focused. her claw glowed, and she moived it around. Ilsa to sense what was inside Arriane. She sensed the life growing inside of her and stopped, pulling her claw away. She paused for a moment and collected herself.. "You ARE with child " Ilsa said finally in a low voice.. : I could sense it..'

There was no doubt in that moment; Ilsa had detected a second energy signature within Arianne. This indicated the presence of another living creature, and since it was inside of a female, it was no leap of logic to conclude that it was a child... this would be the second pregnant female in the party...

After hearing the news, Arianne got the confirmation she needed. She said no words, she just placed her hands together near her face as she closed her eyes, tears coming out of her eyes, after some moments, she opened her eyes and then she was able to say. - "I-I'm going to have a second child." - Her tears were tears of pure joy. Then suddenly, she gave a little jump and gave Ilsa a big hug, forgetting her manners and her diplomatic education and experience, this was a moment of unique joy for a Gaean: the coming of a new child.

Ilsa was taken aback a little by the hug, but she could forgive her, she was just overjoyed at having confirmation of her suspected pregnancy. " Ilsa returned the hug, then brojke away " So are you looking for a boy or girl?' She asked quietly.. "Or do you have no preference?

Arianne also broke the hug. - "I'm sorry about that, I don't know what happened to me." - she then heard the question Ilsa made. - "Well, I do not have any preference at all, but since I already have a boy, then maybe the new child could be a girl." - she said that with a smile, still not fully believing the news.
