Arianne saddened because of those comments. - "I can only say that I am more related to Ilsa and Minna, with a life that has been relatively easy... except for the last few years after the end of the Great War."

Eriol placed an arm around Arianne, he then commented. - "I have seen similar events back in our homeland, because slavery is gaining force, escaping the control of the governments. Kidnapping for slavery is rare, but it happens so families are forced to be more and more cautious, and we are no exception: with Isaac back at a friend's home and now this second child that will come... the last thing I want is something as stupid as slavery to threaten them."

"We should try to not talk too much about this sad topic..." - Arianne said - "... we have more pressing matters for us to take care right now, and that includes to make sure the kids reunite with us."

The party entered the inn; it was far more elaborate than the last one, and a lot smaller. It was still a large structure, though. And it was in decent condition. The brown wooden floors were smooth and clean, the gray stone of the walls and ceiling were free of stains, the lamps were all well lit, and the glasses were clean... that last one was very important.

Rhiga took a quick look around, then sniffed the air. She could not see her half-sibling, but she could smell her... she had been on stage recently. Asking the bartender, Rhiga learned that the one she was looking for was upstairs in a room, sleeping.

"Yeah, she danced up quite a storm, she did. She was already tired when she went upstairs with that first male... three guys later and she finally nodded off, I suppose. She hasn't left that room for three hours, so she's probably still asleep. You're free to check up on her if you want. She on the second floor, second door on the right down the third hallway. Just look for the door with the lion's head over it and you'll find her alright."

"Thank you. I'll go look" Rhiga replied. She went upstairs, alone. Let's see... Dragon's head... jackal's head... serpent's head... eagle's head... human's head?  ... aha, Lion's head!" Rhiga thought, grateful that the heads above each door were nothing more than wooden carvings.

Minna Ilsa and marcus followed Rhiga up the stairs, stopping as she opened a door " Have you found her, dear?' Marcus called out after her, as he stopped outside the door and Rhiga went inside.. " I'd guess she has,.." Ilsa replied. " so that will make 3 siblings we've found..

Lutgicia lay on the bed, utterly exhausted. Her half-sister was quiet; Rhiga was always very good at sneaking around. It wasn't just her tiredness that made her sleep so soundly... Lutgicia had been drinking... too much.

Her skin was a rare color... pink. That's right, a pink female Dracon. With pale white skin on her belly and underside and very large, round tiotleglas on her chest, Lutgicia was very attractive. Wise... she was not.

Rhiga tried to wake her up... to no avail. She tried speaking to her, shaking her, rubbing her, gently scratching her, and giving her some water. They even ordered some fragrant pork for her, but even the smell of that was not enough to wake her up.

"We'll just have to wait until she wakes" Rhiga said, sadly. That would take a few hours...

Lutgicia lay on the bed. No one was going to carry her out against her will; that would be abduction. Her pink top, which, like her matching loincloth was colored a slightly darker shade than her fiery pink skin. Her garments were discarded in a corner, as she slept unclothed, like all female Dracons do.

They would have to leave her there for a while...

Meanwhile...

Dememoras's fortress lay in a sea of palpable blackness. The few creatures able to transverse the strange dark dimension could feel it tugging at them, as if passing through a slightly adhesive cloud. The master had called some of his allies to aid him. Three wicked dragons of different colors flew through the pitch black dimension, heading towards the palace...

"Of course he's going to save her! I'm sure of it. The master has never been wrong."

"I don't know. Did he predict that Arcantas would be pushed off that tower? Or that Adykon would get as far as he did!"

"Hold your tongue! It's not our place to question him! We have been assigned to meet the master himself! He will tell us what to do..."

"No. She's the last that I can get out of here. Let's just relax until she gets up..." Rhiga replied. "We can head back downstairs and see what's happening. It sounds like some very good music."

It was very good indeed. A band of flute players had set up shop downstairs, giving the dancers a rare but much needed break. The waitresses were still as busy as ever, as was the bartender, who was fighting with a disgruntled customer...

"Hey barkeep! This ale tastes like month old troll piss!" shouted an inebriated Dracon male.

"You wanted the cheapest stuff on the house, and that's what you got!"

"I can find better crap poured out into the street! I want a refund!"

"It's the same stuff as you always drink! Speaking of which, your tab's getting awfully high. You'd best pay it off before complaining about the quality of my ale!"

Meanwhile, in the corner, several Dracons were seen smoking in the corner. There were no laws against it in the Dracon lands... but excessive smoking was looked down upon in most cities. Not in Hekaga. Adykon didn't smoke, but normally he didn't mind the fumes... he didn't know what they were smoking, so he avoided it...

Meanwhile, but in the distant valley...

Toby rested in his cozy straw nest; he and Gerasia had built one over the night. The little red dragon slept well, curled up and warm in his nest in the hut. Gerasia slept nearby. She was still afflicted with vampirism, but her mother and father did not hold it against her. The rest of the tribe did. She was held to be unclean... since she was still undead, they weren't fully wrong.

Vaeri's grave was just as cold as it always was. The staff placed into the ground in front of her grave was still in its place. It was raining that day, in the valley, and many of the straw huts were already leaking. No one noticed that the brown wooden staff began to glow with a golden light. Vaeri was still dead, and nothing the staff could do would ever change that, but it was clear that something was happening...

Akito sat at a nearby table, along with Touga, Juri, Ruka, Miki, and Utena.  They were seated close to each other, seemingly discussing something.  They spoke in low tones, and in the Fauxen tongue, which made their conversation all but unintelligible.   Kyuichi, however, was attempting to get a female Dracon to mate with him, grinning lecherously.

Akio stood next to Adykon, looking at him.
"Again, I must apologize for this city's deplorable state..."
He said quietly...

In the Valley, Kuja stepped gingerly out of the portal he had created, looking at Toby and Gerasia with a smile.  Even if he had at first been kind to them as a way of getting to their "mother," he had come to care genuinely for them.
"Rest well, younglings."
He whispered softly, then looked at Gerasia.
"I will find a way to break the curse upon you, child.  I promise..."

Adykon and Vespion gave their assent to drink some wine. And Kyuichi's attempts to mate the female Dracon, a dancer, worked very well... so well that it caught him off guard. What was up with these Dracons? Most of them didn't normally jump at the idea of cross-species relations...

Offering Akio some wine, Adykon spoke to him;

"It is not your fault. Dracon cities would all be like this if they were run badly, curse or no curse. The Dark Master didn't make us bad; Dememoras simply brought out bad tendencies which were already in us." Adykon replied.

Meanwhile...

Kuja found himself surrounded by three tribal dracon warriors and the chief. "Hey! Who are you? How did you get here, and... wait... were you with a group of adventurers earlier?" a warrior asked.

"How did you get back here?" The chief asked, unsure if this really was one of the Fauxen who had been there before. He didn't recognize him...

"Knowing how long we Dracons can sleep, and since it looked like she was already asleep for a while. I'd say another 3 hours." They had already waited for three hours downstairs. The festivities showed no sign of slowing down... on the contrary, they were getting more crowded, and the patrons were more drunk.

Akio took a small sip of his wine, smiling at Adykon.
"Your forgiveness is quite a surprise.  But...I do thank you.  And I intend to repay your kindness."
He said softly, so that others around couldn't hear him speaking.

Kyuichi smirked after his initial shock, then led the Dracon female upstairs...

Kuja raised his hands, lowering his head.
"I was not.  I was with Lady Asthia...your enemy.  But I came not to attack you.  I came only to see that these two younglings were well.  As for how I got here, I have the power to open rifts into the void, and through them, travel to places I am familiar with."
He said quietly...

Eriol and Arianne were in the Inn as well, near the entrance. She asked for a glass of water, maybe not the best of drink for a normal occasion, but maybe one of the very few (or the only one) she could get to drink due to her pregnancy. Eriol decided to drink water as well.
As the activity began to increase more, Eriol went to the center table and payed for the drinks they had, he then went where Adykon and the other were. - "Arianne and I will get a little walk, but we will not go far, so we'll know when Rhiga is able to wake up and bring her last sister."

Back at the valley...

The rain had tapered off. It was still sprinkling, as it often did in the jungle, but it was no longer

"How can we trust you? For all we know, you are still working for the Dark Master. You've come to get Gerasia, haven't you?!" A Dracon warrior accused Kuja.

"His cronies stole her once, but you'll have to kill me before you-"

"Kuja!" Gerasia exclaimed as she ran out of the hut, sounding very happy. She ran over to the Fauxen and gave him a hug as if he was an older brother to her, leaving the other Dracons flabbergasted.

Meanwhile, In Hekaga...

Lutgicia finally began to wake up. Her yellow eyes were bloodshot, and she was still feeling the effects of too much alcohol and dancing. Stepping out of bed, the tender white soles of her feet felt the cold floor. Applying more weight on her right foot, she felt a twinge of pain. She had danced for far too long. Taking her foot in her hands, she massaged it for a good five minutes, flexed her clawed toes, and proceeded to rub her other foot.

When she was comfortable enough to walk, the pink-skinned female stretched, put on her loincloth and top, and walked downstairs. Busy day... and she still had to get home... Kosjurec was waiting for her the whole time... she had left him with a friend who had crashed there for the night. Lutgicia was about to leave the inn when she smelled someone familiar... no, three familiar scents... and one of them was Rhiga!

Rhiga had smelled her newly-awakened half-sister too... "Luty!" she exclaimed, as the rogue went over to meet her half-sibling and gave her a hug. Explaining the situation as she had done with the last two half-sisters, Rhiga welcomed her into the adventuring party... but, there was something different this time...

"Adykon? The leader of your party is Adykon?" Luty asked.

"Yes... but Luty... why is that important?" Rhiga replied, using her half-sister's pet name.

"Let me take a look at him" Luty asked. As she did so, a look of recognition spread across her face, and her eyes widened.

"Rhiga... this male is the father of our half-brother!"

Kuja grinned, picking Gerasia up happily.
"Hello, Lady Gerasia!  How are you, fair princess?"
He said merrily, smiling at her and her father.

"How... how do you know my daughter?!" The chief exclaimed. "Gerasia, what's going on?! Did that furred thing hurt you. Get away from him!" And with that, the warriors separated Gerasia from Kuja, but they didn't hurt him...

"Father, please, don't hurt Kuja!" the little Dracon exclaimed.

Eriol and Arianne were walking the alleys of Hekaga, still keeping close enough of the Inn the rest of the party is.

"There is still much time for the young ones to appear, but I would like to have a sign of them." - Eriol commented as he is taking a look at the streets, specially keeping an eye to some Guards, but they were far enough from the Inn so they represented no threat.

Arianne looked at her husband with a smirk - "If you are that worried about Selturma, Sasha, Jake and Rex, I cannot imagine how you would be with Isaac and our new child that will come." - she then stopped for a second. - "Eriol, you do still have that potion Selturma gave you?"

Eriol looked at her and nodded, then both Panthers found a small aquare and sat down, He is always carrying his backpack, so he took it off and began searching between his stuff, until he found the potion. After Arianne sat down, he then proceeded to apply the potion to his wife's feet.

As he was doing that, Arianne's curiosity lead her to inspect her husband's backback, finding: spare arrows, the spare clothing, some other stuff and... - "What is this?" - she asked as she found a book, hidden between Eriol's things.

He looked at her and replied, with a calm voice - "That is my journal, I began writing it shortly after I began hunting your killer.... but since you made it back to me, I totaly forgot about this book." - he smiled as he saw her putting the book back in the nackpack and then as she began looking at how Eriol was finishing applying the potion. After a while, they both were sitting, one next to the other, as they were talking... killing the time until something new can happen.
