"Ready! Focus your magic and fire on 1! 3... 2... 1!" And the mages all fired at the rubble, blowing it to pieces. When the dust settled, there was a tunnel exposed... a well-lit corridor with a smooth stone floor, light blue walls, and little white squres painted into the walls in a pattern. There was no indication of where the tunnel led, but the party was happy to be in the tunnel and out of the catacombs...

Minna and Ilsa blated at the rubble and after the dust had settled stepped through the hole,. 'This.. looks like someone wealthy built this passage.. either a noble , possibly royal person, or a priest.. " Ilsa said upon examoing the ground. "Its smooth, unlike the ground we just walked through, this will be great for my feet..which are all cut up.. lets hope this tunnel leads out of the city.."

Adykon and the rest began to walk down the tunnel... it was long... they were walking for a half hour, and it still went on... still the same monotonous pattern... still the same torch lights, still no end in sight.

The party sat down to rest for a few minutes. They had been walking all day.

minna sat dowb in a opening in the wall. "Lets get some food in us while we wait.. here's some bread, pass it around, everyone gets a piece.. She aid habding a couple loaves to Ilsa and vespion..

As the party was eating... they heard hoofbeats... that's right... distant hoofbeats...

"Adykon, are you hearing hoof-?" Rhiga said, rudely interrupted by Vespion.

"-I hear them too. There are... horses down here... someone or some group is guiding horses... in a tunnel." Vespion added.

And then, slowly, a heavily guarded caravan filled with supplies came down the tunnel, using horse-drawn carts... where were they taking these supplies to? WHAT was the purpose of this tunnel?

Jake got up from the chair. And he paced back and fourth across the room wondering what he should do now...."hmmm......i've always wanted to be a knight..." thought Jake "maybe i could offer my allegence to the prince...". Jake unlocked the door and he walked outside and down the street to the right towards a giant castle ruled by the prince.

(meta the prince is a brutal tyrant. You can't just have Jake walk up to the castle and ask.. thats not how things work there ..He rules the city with an iron fist, if someone goes where they are not supposed to, they can be killed for it..and being a foreigner and a kid won't protect jake one whit if they catch him just walking up to the castle, which by the way isn't even in the city but several miles outside, up in the mountains, for security reasons..)

Jake eventually arrived at the castle. Jake thought of some ideas that he could use to get inside and become a knight. Jake pondered this for a while "hmmm....i can't just walk right in there....i need to communicate....but how?...."

(becoming bad is a very gradual process, you don't just decide one day to become evil. in Star Wars Anakin didn't become Darth Vader overnight, it took years of anger building up, and Palpatine slowly corrupting him..one spell. no matter how powerful, isn't going to be enough to turn him bad, the prince is going to demand proof of his wickedness and test him. jake might have to kill in cold blood for example..)

(OOC: Please save this for PMs... I didn't say that Jake should just walk right up and demand a job with the evil side. It doesn't work like that... it doesn't even work like that with a REAL job. Jake needs to gradually make contact with the evil forces... slowly, and he isn't going to be trusted by them all at once, of course.)

Eriol heard what Kuja said and he gave a smirk - "Well, I hope you know what you are doing." - he said and made him and Arianne to put their backs in the wall. Still, he kept his right hand ready to draw one of his swords, and kept the left hand in front of Arianne, in a defensive way.

Ariane closed her eyes for a second before opening them again. She is preparing herself to use her wind-based magic, as a plan-B.

While Jake was walking down the decaying streets of Hekaga he stumbled upon a piece of paper that lay on the ground--(havn't finished this yet got to edit it when i go to library so don't say anything about this post)

Akito, Touga, Miki, Utena, and Juri all were pressed up against the wall as Kuja began singing a soft spell-song, making the adventurers appear to disappear into the wall...

Adykon and Vespion saw what he was doing... it was an invisibility spell... the kind that only worked if everyone stood still. Quickly setting Kos down, Adykon pressed himself against the wall, and stood very still. When the caravan approached, no one saw the party. The guards were fooled, as were the drivers... the horses were fooled as well!

The caravan was carrying food and other goods down the tunnel. Where they supplies were supposed to go was unknown to the party, but it looked like quite a haul. The carts traveled very slowly, as they were laden down with food to the brim... and in one case, beyond the brim! One of the carts was carrying a load of hazelnuts, and a few nuts fell over the side...

Kos, without knowing any better, went to go grab some nuts. He moved before anyone could stop him, and the toddler was exposed outside of the magic field. Adykon reached over to grab him, but he was seen as well...

Akito leapt under the cart, clinging to the underside as Ruka and Touga jumped up into it, pulling Miki, Juri, and Utena aboard.
