Luna continued to watch the situation unfold outside as she called out to Auerila and Cera "Come on! Hurry!" was all she called out to them watching the rocks strike the ground still.

At the chaos going on outside, Pip tried to move to shield Dinah's sight of it just incase, but she moved aside.

"Come on Aunt Cera..." she said half in a whisper, all she could think about was how she'd lost so many others of her family, her own twin brother included, she didn't want to lose anymore...

"Go, Cera!" Aurelia shouted as she ran behind her. She was dodging falling rocks as she ran.

"See that cave?! Everybody's gone in there! Keep movin'!" Aurelia shouted, hoping she was encouraging Cera enough to not slow down. Meanwhile, Ducky, Spike, and Renn watched anxiously from the cave.

"Oh, please do hurry!" Ducky cried out as she tightly clasped her hands together.

Zaine finally reached the cave panting heavily. He was thankful they found more shelter in such a quick time, but he was more concerned with Longtail. Then again, he was also concerned about Sweetie. He glanced down at her. "We are safe now. Are you hurt?"

Littlefoot had also made it in safe and sound. However, he could tell Ali was not okay. Something was bothering her, and he had a pretty good idea what. Trying to ignore Cyrix, he walked over to her and nuzzled her softly. "Don't worry Ali. Everything's going to be fine."

Cera ran faster and quickly neared the entrance to the cave.

"I'm fine" Ali said with a forced smile to the two long necks around her.

Sweetie looked up at Zaine and knowing they were now safe nodded her head. But she couldn't help but look back outside and seeing the devastation. She then asked a question that had been on her mind. "W-where...is Longtail? He may not be the smartest flyer, but...he sacrifice himself for Cyrix. That means alot to me."

Cyrix looked Pearl in the eyes and stepped away not knowing what he was going to tell her about how Longtail had given his life to protect both himself and his hatchlings. He could only stutter out a shallow "I'm sorry Pearl...for everything. All the trouble I've caused wasn't worth it...I am sorry."

At first Pearl glared at Cyrix as she prepared to reply to his comment about the trouble he'd caused, when she heard Sweetie's question, and that in turn dialed up the fear in her heart. She looked around the cave and indeed Longtail couldn't be seen. She looked to Cyrix again as his words seemed to sink in..."What...happened to my mate?!" She shouted rather loudly.

Ruby stepped next to Cera and smiled.
"I am glad you are unhurt, because that means you are safe and not hurt." she said with joy in her voice.

The two figures who'd helped Cera make it to the cave smiled at each other as one rushed over and gave Twiz a bone crushing hug as Azure began to speak. "I'm sorry for leaving without telling anyone...but Hunter was sure she smelled her mate...and she asked my help in finding him. Please forgive me Twiz."

Hunter sighed and sat down for a moment as she took stock of who was left and was proud to see mostly everyone had survived. But she too frowned as Longtail couldn't be seen anywhere.

Drake stepped back into view as he spoke "You lot wait here, I'll go and find your friend"

"You will? Um, how come?" Luna asked her father.

"I do not want to have to be responsible for any deaths around here" Drake told his daughter as he dashed outside and begun to look around in hopes to find Longtail "Come on kid, where are you?" he asked himself as he kept on looking around, rocks striking the nearby ground in the prcoess.

"Aunt Cera! You're ok!" Dinah rushed forward from the group in her relief.

After grimacing horribly at the rather enthusiatic hug, Twiz had to smile next as Azure went on, "It's fine" he next smiled though and hugged her, "I know if anything happened to you or...Flip...". This reminded Twiz of the rock that had hit poor little Flip and which had made Twiz brave the flying rocks a bit longer enough to move his son.

"Speaking of Flip..." Twiz knew he had to tell what had happened, "Now Azure I don't want you to worry, he's fine just...got...well clipped by a flying rock you might say".

Little Flip was awake at least, resting at the corner of the cave with a wet leaf over the bump on his head and as he looked over at all the voices and saw his mom he smiled.

After Aurelia had entered the cave behind Cera, she looked around and took count of who was present.

"It seems like someone's missin'," she said to herself. Just then, she heard Pearl ask Cyrix loudly where Longtail was, and she gasped. The thought of one of the herd not making it made her sad inside. As she looked at the herd members once more, she began to wonder how many more casualties the herd would be able to handle without totally losing it. She then looked at Ducky, Spike, and Renn as they approached her.

"Good work," Spike said with a smile.

"That was very brave of you. It was, it was," Ducky added.

"They're both right. I just hope Longtail was as lucky," Renn said. The group fell silent before Aurelia glanced over at Cera.

"'Scuse me," she whispered before she went over to Cera.

"Hey, Cera," she said. "Are ya okay after what just happened?"

Pearl snapped her head around at Cera's words and she frantically asked aloud, "What?! What do you mean we won't find him?!"

Cyrix stepped forward and asked Cera, "Please tell us you have good news...I don't think we could take anymore bad news."

Azure eyes widened in shock and she struggled hard not to scream. After several seconds she flapped over to Flip and gently hugged him and licked his face several times, all the while repeating, "It's okay...mommy is here now Flip. Are you alright?" she asked her son in distress.

Hunter stepped forward and gently nudged Pearl away from Cera with a smile.
"Relax Pearl, Longtail is on Cera's back. He's safe...well...almost." she said with an immediate frown.

Indeed Longtail's body was safe, but he wasn't breathing, and his scales had lost a great deal of color from both the lack of air, and from the massive burns that covered his body.

Sweetie smiled slightly at the news Hunter gave, but shed a tear as Hunter frowned knowing that if Hunter had any reason to frown it was always bad news.

Dein and Terri were standing behind Chomper and asked their son, "What's happened? Is Longtail okay?"

"You mean, go out there, in the sky fire?" Luna asked Cera with a gulp as she watched the rocks strike the ground.

Her father on the other hand, continued to call out for Longtail's name "You better still be alive kid..." he muttered to himself as he continued to look around.

Soon enough, Drake saw Longtail on the ground and examined him "Burns....I know just what to do....I am probabally going to regret this afterwards though...." he grumbled as he grabbed the young dinosaur and lifted him onto his back before racing back to his cave.

"Figures, I go off and do something super heroic and nobody was watching," Cera said with a snort. Cera then stretched her foward left leg out and dipped her whole body down towards it, creating a ramp that allowed Longtail's unmoving form to gently slide to the floor. "Like Hunter said, he's not doing too well," Cera said with an nervous look on her face.

With a slight cough, one he tried to hide, Flip smiled, "Uh huh" the little flyer nodded, "Da' save me" he smiled and pointed. Coming up behind Azure to make sure Flip was ok too, Twiz smiled, "Well...it wasn't anything that heroic, of course I had to find him" he shrugged.

Dinah gasped and moved aside as Longtail shifted to the ground, partly in the shock of his not moving and partly due to all the trouble he'd been causing before and still not trusting the flyer.

Once Drake had put Longtail onto the ground, he looked to the others "He's not breathing at the moment, but he's still alive....however, I shall ask you not to touch him, he's been burned and we'll need some water at least, to treat these burns of his....as for him not breathing, my best bet is to make something for him, problem is, I don't have all the ingredeints, I am missing one object" he told the rest of the dinosaurs.

"So, are you saying that he could die?" Luna asked her father.

"It is a possibility, yes, however, if you lot can go and get me a couple of the flowers that I'm after and bring them back here, I shall be able to make something that should work, and here's the fun part, these flowers can only be found in one place....on top of the fire mountain" Drake told them "I would go myself, however, it's best I stay here, if anything else happens to him, I'll know what to do...."

Hunter had to resist smacking Drake in the back of his head.
"Are you stupid...he's not breathing, and even from where I'm standing I can tell....he...he..." she couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence.

Pearl was immediately at Longtails side, and she could feel her emotions threatening to overwhelm her. She was crying, both in sadness and in anger, but most of all she was crying for herself. "L-longtail...p-please....get up...o-o-open your eyes....please. I'm begging you....j-just...answer me."

When no answer came she stepped back and leaned against the nearest wall and just cried.

Sol however stepped over to her father's body and asked, "Why daddy sleeping?"

Sweetie looked up at Zaine to see his reaction. However upon seeing Longtail motionless shook her as well and she couldn't help but begin to shed several tears as she said to Zaine, "I...I'm so sorry. I-I know you two were like brothers."

Cyrix clenched his fists and stepped towards the back of the cave. He couldn't bare to see his nephew like this...it was just too much.

Longtail was still looking around not entirely sure where he was. He was back on his home island. But he knew that wasn't possible as his home island was now deep under the big water.

But here he was...back again with the bright circle shining and the smell of the big water nearby. Longtail then opened his beak and tried to speak, but no sound came out. 'Okay, this is getting weird.' thought the flyer to himself. 'I don't even know why I'm here...'

He then began walking around the island wondering if he could find some answers.

Upon realizing Longtail was no longer alive, and seeing Pearl's grief, Aurelia's group silently looked at each other with sad, hopeless expressions. Just then, Ducky spoke.

"Stay here," she whispered before she made her way over to Pearl and gently took her into a comforting embrace.

"I am so sorry Pearl. I am, I am," Ducky choked as she tried to comfort the presumably widowed flyer.

"Heh....very well then" was all Drake had said to Hunter as he turned and headed back deeper into the cave again.

Luna, on the other hand, looked down at Longtail with a bit of a frown "Come on, you have to wake up....you just have to....."

"Y-you said there is a hope though, these flowers..." Kit glanced to Drake, "It would have to be a flyer who got them probably..." she said as if thinking through this.

Petrie frowned, "Kit...what you're thinking, it...no one could do something like that except..." he broke off then glanced down to Longtail.

"If there's a chance...someone's gotta try" Kit shrugged.
