"So is this game of yours really as hard as Kopa makes out?" Hali asked Nuteri as they walked. The baboon had already explained it and it's complications, but Hali couldn't help thinking between her and Ramiki, they should be able to handle it and one of them win.

"I would of but I had no idea where you had gone. And this valley is so huge it could have taken me days to find you Kopa. Yeah, I hated my mother more then anything else in the world. Ramiki thought he had barely known this game. What fruit would be best for this game anyway?

Well, you'ere doing alright, because he's not a crazy killing machine .. I know what it is like to be alone.. as for ramiki, I'm gong to help you, as best I can.." Kopa replied. "I won't be his father,, officially, at first, it depends on how our relationship is at that point..whetjer we are truly comfortable together..

"Well Ramiki always wanted to have a sister. And I always wanted to take care of another cub. But of course I could need some help." Vitani said looking over at Kopa with a loving smile and a small blush.

Yes, and we'll work on this as we go.. first though we have to ask Hali if she wants to join our little family" Kopa said.. As they had talked the sun had dipped close to the horizon reddening the sky, and casting shadows on the water.. "She hasn't had a family for a long time.. she deserves one.."

"Yeah, she does. Everyone deserves a family. And Hali is very adorable whoever the lion is who gets to take care of Haili will be very lucky." Vitani said.

Well, I thought I'd leave the decision to you.. see I usually turn in after sunset. I'm an early riser, so I go to bed early.. Nuteri instilled that me as a cub. Sunset was bedtime for me.."

Hali couldn't help her sigh as well, being use to being able to tell herself when to sleep, still despite night being the hunter's time, such as Lioness, it also meant other bigger lions and hyena's were more active, so she had found that at least trying to hide unnoticed in a tree once night fell was a good idea.

"Oh alright, I guess if we have to" she said.

I'm no slouch either. 3 times around the pond , to this point. " Kopa. dug a small line in the dirt in front of them. he drew it long enough so it was visible for some distance. When he had finished, he came basck to Vitani. " Whenever you're ready. We'll line up, and no cheating! " He grinned.
