This was a huge horrible mess, Hali noted as they were carried off. She tried to smile back reassuringly to lessen some of the worry she knew Ramiki felt over just her being here too.
"Don't worry, you couldn't have made me leave you anyway" she told him, "and I'm sure someone will come after us..." she sounded both relieved and sad about this, since they would be pulling more of the pride into trouble just by having to be rescued.
