Thought I should mention that at this point, my character still hasn't been freed, though Screech is distracted because Longtail's latched onto his head. I was going to wait for GVG to post again in case he wanted to have Longtail himself actually defeat Screech, but since he hasn't had much time for the RP lately, I'm wondering if instead I should have Screech get knocked out in some other way, like ramming into a wall (though Longtail would have to let go of his head at the last minute), being hit with a rock, slipping down a hill, running off a ledge, or even tripping over Red Claw or being accidentally struck by another dinosaur. What should I do? :unsure:

I could have my character attack Screech in his new fast biter form, which would actually give him something to do in the fight. Rob freeing Pangaea would give a motive for some of the GV residents to argue that he is not dangerous despite being turned into a fast biter.

GVG had previously said that he wanted to have Longtail fight Screech to give him a chance to meet and interact with my character, though with GVG being so busy that might not work out. I'd really like to hear from him about this, regardless of whether or not he has time for any amount of posting.

Not a bad idea, LBTFan13. I suppose that if your character attacked Screech while he still had Longtail on his head, then both of them could take credit for saving my character.

Amy, do you have any opinions, suggestions, or preferences?

I say go for LBTFan13's plan if GVG can't make it posting. I think we need to wrap up this part of the plot quick so other people can play this rp.

I agree with Amy. The battle has been going on for a while now, so we should get it done as soon as possible so others can join in at a much easier pace. I can wait another day before posting my character's attack. If GVG doesn't post, then I will. Otherwise, I can wait until Rick posts something. I understand he had something planned, and I don't want to take that from him if he still wants to do it.

I would like to take this time to apologize for my lack of activity recently. My new job has been running me through the ropes for the past four weeks now, scheduling me whenever they feel like it, and all that standing around/stocking boxes of materials is taxing and tiring.

But still that is no excuse and I would like to sincerly apologize once more for letting this drag on so long.

^I wouldn't be hard on yourself, I too have been making this rp drag quite a bit due to a time schedule I have online and when I can be on it.

Anyhow, thank you for posting, and hopefully soon enough we can wrap up this battle.

By the way, just so I don't get my character involved in anything else before you're finished with what you wanted to do, did you plan to have Longtail continue interacting with my character after saving him?

Yes, I would like for Longtail to interact with Pangaea. It would only be natural, although Pangaea might want to snap Longtail out of his anger triad with Screech.

Personally, I think it might be a good for all people that wanted to start in this rp to start soon. I'll probably get my characters (minus Red Claw) back into the valley myself.
