The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Rick was far too shocked when Mr.Threehorn had trampled through the bushes and confronted everyone, and began accusing Pterano without any proof. He was also startled when Anna and Pangaea stood up to Mr.Threehorn going so far as to accuse Mr.Threehorn himself of any wrong doing. He had to admit...he was impressed. He then noticed both Ali, and Littlefoot standing close by, and he lowered his neck and spoke.
"Hello, you two wouldn't happen to be Littlefoot and Ali would you?" he asked quietly.

Grandma Longneck stepped forward earnestly and gave Mr.Threehorn a stern look.
"Mr.Threehorn although Pterano is here before his allotted time is over, as far as I can see, he means no harm....for now. So please take a moment and try to relax. I'm sure everything will be made clear when the time is right." she said with a irritated voice.

Spike had followed Anna and Ducky and walked close behind humming a soft tune.

Markus watched the arguement between Mr. Threehorn and some of the others escalate, choosing not to pick sides just yet even though he didn't think Mr. Threehorn was being reasonable. "Dude..." he commented as the tensions slowly disappated, turning to the rest of the group of newcomers. "Getting yelled at by that guy was just as bad as I thought it'd be." He looked back at Littlefoot, who had just arrived. "Hey, what's up?" he called, resuming his efforts to make some friends.

Rick smiled gently as he answered Ali.
"My name is Rick, and I'm a newcomer here in the valley. It is very nice to meet you." Rick then noticed something out of the corner of his eye, and he turned for a moment to look and saw Belmont flying towards them. He didn't recognize Belmont from where he was but he was certain nothing bad would happen.

"Is he always like this?" Flapper asked Mim and Grandpa Longneck.

"Yes." Mim said, not looking at threehorn at all.

"Maybe it is best you stay near me for now." Grandpa Longneck said to Flapper, "I'm sure once you get to know each other you can get along." Grandpa Longneck said.

"I don't know that I'll live that long." Flapper said, basing what he'd say on what Doc had said in the 6th movie.  "Though now that I remember I don't recall hearing anything good about either one of those 2, Pterano and that threehorn that is." Flapper said.

"I'm not surprised." Mim said.  "Very close minded threehorn is based on my observation of his past behavior. Pterano I have no first hand experience so can't say, except what I have heard which may or may not be true." Mim said.

"Him always scary." Petrie said. "Me never see him smile."

After Mr. Threehorn left, Pangaea took Guido aside.

“Guido, that was fantastic!” he told him, speaking softly enough to not disturb anyone else present or draw attention to himself and Guido, but making no effort to conceal the pride or enthusiasm in his voice, “You just stood up to Mr. Threehorn to defend somebody you didn’t even know!”

Guido shrugged modestly, his bashful nature clearly showing through. “Well, uh...I–I–I saw you doing the same thing, and wanted to help you,” he replied modestly, “Besides, I was worried about you, ya know? I didn’t want to go back to being one of a kind again.” He gave one of his trademark nervous chuckles, and Pangaea joined in.

“Thanks, Guido,” he said, “You did good.”

Guido nodded, his smile shy but appreciative. “So...uh, you said you were a ëjee...oh...eff’ member, like some of those other guys. What does that mean?”

Pangaea flinched. Now he had done it. In indicating his familiarity with the humans in front of Guido, he had exposed his true identity to him.

“Oh, well,” he sighed, “I guess I couldn’t keep it a secret forever. Guido, I have a confession to make. I’m...not from around here.”

“Well, that’s okay,” Guido replied, “Neither am I. I came from outside the Great Valley, just like you did.”

“No, no, no,” Pangaea said, waving his hands in exasperation of his own inability to come up with the right words, “That’s not what I meant. I’m not from this world at all. It’s like...there’s another universe, where this world is...is...watched by people like meówell, people like them.” He motioned towards the GOF members in the vicinity who were currently in their human forms.

“In our world,” Pangaea continued, “this world is just...like a story. A story you can see. A story in pictures. Ugh...” He sighed. “It’s really, really, REALLY hard to explain. But the thing is, I know all about this world; about everyone in it and everything they’ve done, and I...I love it. I’m obsessed with it. My life practically revolves around it these days. And now I’m actually in it, and it’s like a dream come true. Er...uh...a sleep story come true. A good sleep story come true. Ya get what I’m saying?”

Guido appeared to be dumbfounded. “Uh...wow,” he said after a moment’s hesitation, “I–I–I knew you were weirdóI mean, I thought you were weird, even compared to me, but I had no idea...”

Pangaea held up a hand. “If you don’t believe me, it’s okay. I understand.”

“No, no!” Guido hastily protested, “I–I–I–I believe you, but it’s like...wow! It’s unbelievable! I–I–I mean, I believe it, but it’s hard to believe. It’s–”

“Uh, I get it,” Pangaea interrupted, smiling awkwardly, “Thanks. I’m glad you believe me.”

Guido nodded. He then paused for a moment, looking thoughtful. “So...” he ventured, “does that mean you can turn into one of those weird fuzzy-headed twofooters, like we saw that sharptooth do?”

“Uh...maybe,” Pangaea said. He realized that he had never thought about whether he was capable of changing back to his human form while still in the Land Before Time world, as the  other GOF members were apparently capable of doing. “I dunno how it works, exactly. I wasn’t even aware it was possible.”

“Well, now that you do know, are you going to do it?”

Pangaea thought for a moment, then shook his head. “No,” he said, “I–I–I think I’d rather just stay as I am. I like being in this body. I feel more comfortable this way; like I fit in better.”

He grinned at Guido, “Besides, I wouldn’t want you to feel alone, buddy. ëFar as I know, I’m the only one here who’s ended up as a Micro–uh, one of your kind. If I changed, you’d be back to being the only one in the valley again. I figure you’re already disappointed that I’m not really another one of your kind.”

“That’s...very nice of you,” Guido said sincerely.

Pangaea shrugged. “Ah, don’t mention it,” he grinned. “Ya know, it’s kinda funny...of all the dinosaurs here, you’re the most like me.” He paused. “...Not just in being the same species, I meanósorry; same kind. I mean, you’re the most like me in personality; you act the most like me. You’re–“ Pangaea stopped, and unsuccessfully stifled a laugh. “See what I mean? I even talk just like you!”

“Heh-heh, yeah!” Guido chortled. “So, what do you want to do now?”

“Hmm...” Pangaea mused. He glanced around, taking a mental inventory of familiar dinosaurs, many of whom had either entered the area in the last few minutes, or whom he hadn’t noticed before. He recognized Tria, Grandma and Grandpa Longneck (the latter of whom had a long-tailed flyer perched on his head), one unfamiliar rainbow face (Mim) and two familiar ones (whose presence Pangaea found quite unsettling; he hoped they hadn’t anything to do with this crossover of worlds), andóto Pangaea’s surprise and excitementóboth Littlefoot and Ali. The two of them, however, appeared to be presently occupied with a discussion with some GOF members. Pangaea decided that he wouldn’t bother trying to introduce himself to them now; he felt he was already on the edge of being socially cast as the annoying interjector. Not that that mattered to him; there were still three other individuals whom he was very interested in engaging in a proper conversation...

“Well,” he said to Guido, “I really wanted to talk to Ducky and that other swimmer she was with. I think Spike followed them, too. Did you catch which way they went?”

“Yeah,” Guido said, “Do you want to go after them?”

Pangaea was about to say yes, when another thought struck him. His business here might not yet be finished. “Maybe in a minute,” he said, “There’s one thing I need to make sure of first.”

Pangaea ran back to Pterano and the female flyer (Amy) who was with him.

“Um...are you going to be okay now?” he asked hesitantly, hoping he wouldn’t appear insensitive for wanting to leave them now, “Because I...I was going to go after Ducky and that other swimmeróAnna, I think her name was. I...just wanted to make sure you’re all right with that.”

Rick listened to Ali speaking and was surprised he hadn't seen that himself.
"It's nice to see you too, but are you sure you're okay Belmont? That sounded dangerous." He commented with an air of concern.

"This looks like a good tree to eat from, yep yep yep," Ducky spoke up as she pointed out a meduim-sized tree, loaded with lush treestars, that stood just a few yards ahead of them.

"Hmm...it's too tall for Spike to reach, though.  Wait right here," Anna replied before she set Ducky down next to Spike.  She then walked over to the tree, grasped the trunk with both hands, and began to violently shake the tree.  Treestars showered down as Ducky approached Anna.

"I wish I could do that, yes I do," Ducky said as she motioned for Spike to join them.

"You'll be able to do this when you're bigger," Anna replied as she let go of the tree.  Most of the treestars had fallen by then.

"I wish I was bigger and stronger.  No one would pick on me then, no no no," said Ducky.

"True, but you've gotta remember strength is not intended to be used for hurting others.  The purpose of defending yourself is to stop the other person from causin' ya harm, not to cause the other person harm.  Besides, you're still a kid.  You're too young to be gettin' into fights, not to mention you're a sweetheart," said Anna.  Ducky giggled in response to that last sentence.

"Thank you.  I guess I have many more bright circles to go before I can kick tail too, yep yep yep," Ducky said with another giggle.

"Yup, but just remember what I've told ya," said Anna as she sat down to join Ducky and Spike.  She had not tried treestars before, so she decided it was best she start off with a small bite.  Upon eating the treestar, she discovered it tasted just like spinach.  Since her human diet consisted mainly of vegetables and fruits, she was accustomed to eating greens, so this worked in her favor.

"These are pretty good," said Anna before she ate a mouthful of treestars.

"They are, but you have to eat quickly if you want more.  I do not think you know how much Spike eats.  He likes food, yep yep yep."

"That's okay.  I'm not much of an eater.  My family wonders how my weight sustains itself 'cuz I eat so little.  Besides, the valley is full o' food.  I won't starve," Anna said, then giggled.

"Okay.  I just want to make sure you have enough to eat, yep yep yep," replied Ducky as they continued to eat.

The member of GoF, known by the nickname Myrkin, opened his eyes, which he had been keeping closed since 'the light' hit him. He looked around and saw (to his astonishment), that he was no longer standing on platform but on the ground. What is more, he could see many plants and trees in every direction he glanced. It wasn't dark, but it was broad daylight, which was sure strange, yet it was just another drop of weird in goblet of weirdness and it was just a begining...

"Where... Where I am?" he asked himself. He glimpsed at his hand, wanting to see what time it is, as if it would answer any questions that was going through his mind at that moment. Then, he noticed that his hand was replaced by green paw. Saurian paw at that. Myrkin hold it out, examing it. He tried moving his fingers, now ended with short claws, and the paw responded adequately. This paw belonged to him, no doubts about it. Then he looked at the rest of his body and he could clearly see, that he was (in terms of LBT) fastbiter.

"Nice dream. It's something I could write about on GoF forum." he said aloud, before frowning a bit. He didn't remember falling asleep. He hadn't even been feeling tired when he had waited for a train. In addition, this dream felt much more real than any before.

"Hmm... I think there is one proven way to settle, if this is a dream or not." He slashed lightly his left paw with his right and he had to force himself not to hiss from pain. It was real after all! Luckily, he had had enough reason not to put more strenght to cutting or he would end up with serious wound.

"This is real... This is real! What do I do? What do i do?!" he shouted, shocked by this discovery, "Alright! Calm down." he took a deep breath,

"Now. Lets see if there is anybody here, who knows what is going on. It's not like I have anything better to do anyway..."

He slowly made a few steps, but it seemed like he could move as easily as in original body, so he quickened the pace. He tried using his new nose and he could smell many scents, but there was one problem. He couldn't say what they all meant. Well... he thought, I will have to learn it the hard way. I just hope I wont get myself killed in the process...

Spike ate several treestars in one bite, all the while smiling as if challenging Ducky and Anna to an eating contest 'are you afraid to lose?'

Rick then shook his head at Belmont for a moment.
"Well you are safe and that's all that matters I suppose." he said with a soft tone. "I still wonder if we're going to get a tour of the rest of the valley?" he asked aloud.

Some time ago, Myrkin could hear voices coming from some place not far away or at least it sounded like a voices. Anyway, he decided to walk towards the source and see who was there. Simple and easy to remember - it had to be a good plan, right?

After a minute or two of walking, the human in fastbiter's skin, well... scales, reached the edge of a clearing, where he saw one small spiketail, even smaller swimmer and another one but much more large. It seemed that they were focusing on eating at the moment, so Myrkin could use this opportunity to watch them from his hiding spot. Although he couldn't explain it, he had a strange feeling that he knew who the smaller dinosaurs were...

Amy smiled graciously at Guido and Panagea.

"Thank you, I think we're okay." She then eyed at Tria at the last part of her sentence with one of her evil eye expressions.

Then she looked at the two feathered flyers, "I'll catch up with you two later, I just need to take care of a few things first." She looked down at herself seeing the wounds and feeling sore all over.

"By the way, if you don't know already, I'm Amy, I just came from a VERY different place so I'm as new as you are." She looked at Panagea at her last sentence.

"And I guess I know who you are already, since you said it to everyone else here." She chuckled at her sentence.
------------------------------
Little Foot responded to Markus, "Hi, I guess you're one of the new dinosaurs here too? I'm Little Foot by the way. I just wanted to come to here to see what was going on. But I think I know now...."
----------------------
Mr. Three Horn did not hear Grandma Longneck or anyone else for that matter. He just went to a lone pool of water and looked at his own reflection in the water. This always happened, he was seen as the "bad guy", when he thought he was just being realistic.

"C'mon, we all had to fight for our own and stick to our own. I don't know why things have to change. They shouldn't." He grunted and stomped his foot.
--------------------------------
Red Claw engulfed the flyers and said, "Thank you Thud."

He then tried to see if Screech was there, "Now Screech, do you understand the plan and what we are doing?"
