"What makes you so sure,for all we know they could be injured or worse" Belmont told Rita, he was still thinking about what Shorty had told him, about the possibly that Sam and "Thomas" could be trapped in the Mysterious Beyond, but was that true?

Longtail looked up at the wall and smiled.
"I could go look for Sam and Thomas while you all find a way around the wall." he commented hoping some others would accept his plan.

Grandma Longneck nodded at the suggestion. "It sounds like a good idea to me. What does everyone else think?" she asked aloud.

Rick sighed as he spoke to Pangaea, "Better late than never I suppose right?" He then nodded his head also at Longtail's plan. "That sounds like a good idea to me as well, but you shouldn't go alone."

"Ya know," Anna spoke up as she looked at the wall. "Humans, especially those who are at healthy weights, do not weigh a whole lot. Back at home, we sometimes have to airlift folks out of dangerous areas. It's a long story about how humans learned how to fly, so let's leave that out for now. Anyhoo, maybe we could have one of our stronger flyers fly over the wall while carrying a long vine. The flyer could lower the vine down far enough for Sam and Thomas to reach it, and then the flyer could lift those two back over the wall onto this side. Perhaps one or two other flyers can accompany the rescue flyer for security reasons."

Mim nodded at Anna's idea, "If the vine is long enough not only could it reach but perhaps more then 1 adult flyer may be able to lift then, even if just 1 at a time." She said.

"We have to find out first if they are over there or elsewhere." Grandpa Longneck said.

Amy looked to Grandama Longneck and said, "I'm alright thank you."

She turned to Longtail and said, "That is a good idea, can you see Noname and Sam on the other side?"

Little Foot ran away from his grandmother and climbed up on the wall, climbing up. He slipped a few times and Amy saw what he was attempting to do.

"It's okay kid, the adults can take care of them, you probably should get out of the rain." She smiled looking up at him.

Little Foot looked a little disappointed and he looked at above him. She was probably right, even though he wanted to help somehow.

So he slid down and asked, "Is everyone else okay?"

Topsy Three Horn stared to where he heard nothing, no sounds, nothing, so he said to Tria, "Tria, take these kids home, I'll go see what's going on. I'll be back, don't worry." He nuzzled her and his daughters and limped away to look for the rest of the herd.

Grandma Longneck gently nuzzled Littlefoot as he reached the bottom of the rock wall. "Come along little one, getting you out of the rain is important so you don't get sick." she said with compassion in her voice.

Longtail faced Amy as he replied, "Of course I can, didn't anyone tell you we flyers have amazing eyesight. We can see for miles. If Sam and "Thomas" are out in the Mysterious Beyond chances are I'll find them!" He then flapped his wings raising himself into the air with a broad smile as he flew forward towards the top of the Great Wall.

Rick watched Longtail fly and couldn't help but smile even in the rain. It was just incredible to see this child be so agile and quick in such bad weather. "Just be careful Longtail!" he called after the young flyer.

Longtail reached the top of the wall and even though the rain was rather heavy he could still see for a short distance. He flapped forward to see if he could make out any shapes or figures, but he couldn't see anyone so far. "I hope they aren't in trouble." he said aloud. "SAM! THOMAS!" he cried through the rain hoping they were close enough to hear his calls.

Claw looked around and waited with others for results of Longtail reconnaissance. He hoped that Sam and Thomas will be found soon, as the weather was getting worse and worse. Chomper was away, probably still looking for some adults to alert about return of Redclaw, which was unnecessary now, as the big sharptooth was pilled over by lots of rocks. There was no way anyone could survive something like this, which (knowing this from movies experience) probably guaranted that Redclaw will emerge from under those boulders some time later, Claw thought ironically...

A voice was heard elsewhere,

"Hey! How is everyone?!" Mr. Three Horn limped in the clearing and his jaw seemed to have dropped ten stories once he saw Red Claw crushed under the rocks.

"You-you did this? He turned to the others." Little Foot said, "Yeah! And Amy distracted Red Claw! So she can't be taken out of the valley! She and the newcomers helped us!" He yelled to Mr. Three Horn, obviously still angry with him for treating the newcomers the way he did.

Mr. Three Horn's eyes widened and then he tore his gaze from Little Foot.

Amy yelled to Longtail again, "Do you see Noname and Sam?"
