The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Pangaea nodded. “Definitely a good sign,” he agreed. He paused for a moment. “Speaking of Anna, weren’t Ducky, Cera, and Tricia with her before? Where’d they go? Mr. Threehorn had asked me to tell Cera that he was okay.”

--------------------------------------------------

A slightly battered-looking Screech found Red Claw sheltering underneath the trees.

Red Claw!” he exclaimed, “There you are! I was trying to dig you outta that rock pile, and when you burst out on your own like that, you nearly crushed me!

Longtail was getting tired of looking, not because he didn't care, but just because he didn't like the sky water as much as he was a flyer. However before he could lower himself to the ground slowly, Longtail sneezed and the force of the sneeze blew the young flyer down onto the ground with a 'oof'
"Ow....silly sky water." he said as he sneezed again.

Rick sighed as he gently nudged Longtail.
"See...told ya you would get sick." he said with a friendly smile.

Longtail however didn't see the humor in the situation and groaned as he stood up and sniffled. "Whatever. Just get me out of here...please." he added as he turned to the longneck.

Rick responded by lifting Longtail onto his back and stepping closer to the trees if for no other reason than they would slow at least some of the rain fall at bay.

Grandma Longneck nodded at her grandson and said, "Of course dear. Let's return to the nest until the sky water stops falling."

"Good idea, Sam" came the response. "Those caves to the left of us should do" 'Thomas' responded.

"Maybe we head back.  Lots of sky water." Petrie said to his mother.

---

"Maybe it would be best, to take what shelter we can then return here once the sky water has stopped or less of it is falling." Mim said.

“So...what happened here, exactly?” Pangaea asked Amy. “I think I missed a lot.”

Mr. Three Horn snorted.

"Huh...well I guess they went away by now..." He turned to everyone else and saw others leaving. He saw Amy and decided to approach her.

Amy was about to respond to Pangaea, but Mr. Three Horn's presence made her silent and looked at Mr. Three Horn with a steady and stern stare.

"Hello Amy." He smiled uneasily.

"Hi Mr. Threehorn." She tried to keep her voice steady. She did not at all want to show the fact that she was afraid of what Mr. Threehorn was going to do next.

"I want to apologize for my behavior today. And I want to thank you for making that speech. It touched me greatly." He smiled.

Amy gave a slight smile and replied, "Thank you, I'm glad you liked it."

Mr. Three Horn then turned to Pangaea and said, "And thank you, Pangaea...I believe that's your name...for helping me with this wound." He smiled warmly at Pangaea.

"Well, I better be off. I need to be with my family. If you two want to come with me to stay out of the rain you are more then welcome to." He smiled.

Amy was flattered by the offer and grateful that Mr. Three Horn would suggest that. It seemed so out of character of him to do, but she sighed and replied, "Thank you, but I would like to speak with a few others before I come to your home."

He nodded understanding and he looked Pangaea for a response.
-------------
Rebecca replied, "Yes Petrie we will go." She turned to Pterano and replied, "Pterano, are you coming?"
-------------
Red Claw sighed and mooed, "I KNNNNNOOWWWW....look at me...I am a mess!"

He shook his head and moaned. "All because of my inability TO SEEE!!!!!" He roared and thrashed his head from side to side in agony.

"There is no purpose for me anymore!!! You two don't understand the blessing you have to still see! Oh...why....oh why?!"

Anna looked at Mr. Threehorn in a pleased manner.  She was glad he was finally beginning to see that the newcomers meant no harm and posed no threat to the valley residents.  She then looked at Mr. Threehorn's bandaged paw and nodded in approval.

"I'd say ya did a pretty good job on that bandage, Pangaea," Anna said to Pangaea.

Pangaea wasn’t sure if Microraptors could blush (and even if they could, he doubted it would be noticeable on him, since he was already red all over), but he suspected that he might be doing so now. It truly meant a lot to him to have someone show appreciation for something he had done. Few things made him feel better than the knowledge that he had done something useful or helpful, and he always felt an obligation to reciprocate that sort of gratitude to whoever gave it to him.

“You’re welcome,” Pangaea replied to Mr. Threehorn. “I’m glad I could be of help.”

“And thanks,” he said to Anna, in response to her compliment on the bandage. “It’s very reassuring to hear you say that. I was worried when I was treating his injury that I wasn’t doing it right.”

Now he addressed Mr. Threehorn’s offer to join him in returning to his nest.

“Sure!” he said, “That is, if Amy doesn’t mind me leaving. I’ve been dying to get a chance to talk to Cera.”

He turned back to Anna, unsure if Mr. Threehorn’s invitation had extended to her as well. “And what about you, uh...Anna, right? What were you going to be doing?”

"Where we go.   Back to nest or somewhere closer?" Petrie asked.

--

"Yes, if there are caves nearby we should get the young ones in there so they will be out of the rain and any others who can fit & want out of the rain." Grandpa Longneck said.

“Did you want to come with us?” Pangaea offered, indicating himself and Mr. Threehorn.

--------------------------------------------------

Screech was a little frightened by Red Claw’s behavior, but at the same timeómuch to his own surpriseóhe actually felt sorry for the sharptooth.

It’s not so bad, Red Claw,” he ventured, hoping to calm Red Claw down, “Those rocks could’ve killed you, you know. You’re lucky to be alive. And your nose and ears still work, don’t they? It’s not like you can’t find food anymore. You just...need to be more careful about catching it.

Mr. Three Horn smiled and replied, "Of course you can come, I'm sure Cera and Tricia would be happy to see you." He smiled and said, "Alright, follow me."

Amy smiled and said, "Bye guys, see you later." She smiled and went through the trees to be by herself for a bit.
------------
Little Foot replied to the others, "Bye guys!" He ran ahead of his grandmother, but not too much ahead, still he couldn't wait to get out of the rain.
-----------
"Oh...what does that mater?!" He roared at Screech. "I'm disabled! I can't function like the young, full blooded sharptooth I used to be! I don't know where certain things are! The scents are everywhere...it's just a mess to me! I don't know how I take this any longer!"
----------
Rebecca said, "Let's go Petrie to the nest, it's not very far from here. Stay under my wing though and stay close." She smiled and nudged him to the sky to head back home.

What in the world?  He can't be the same Mr. Threehorn from this mornin'.  I'm certain somebody's talked to him, Anna thought as she found herself puzzled by Mr. Threehorn's change of heart and attitude.

"Thanks.  Alrightie then, let's get outta this rain," Anna said as she followed Mr. Threehorn.  She still felt funny about his suddenly pleasant attitude, but it made her feel relieved.  She hated fighting, and she felt terrible for hurting his pride.  Anna knew Mr. Threehorn was a grudger, and she was grateful that Mr. Threehorn had forgiven her.  She was even more grateful that he was starting to accept the newcomers.

“See ya, Amy!” Pangaea waved, and went to follow Mr. Threehorn and Anna, feeling extremely grateful for the big Triceratops's change in attitude. Maybe that little chat I had with him helped after all, he thought. He only hoped it would last.

--------------------------------------------------

Screech sighed. It wasn’t in his nature to comfort others, or feel the need to do so, but he felt strangely uncomfortable seeing his long-time pack leader like this. “Well, think about this, Red Claw,” he said, “You’re luckier than most sharpteeth. Most of your kind hunts alone, don’t they? You’ve got me and Thud to help you. We can be your eyes. Besides, you’ve only been blind for a day or two now, haven’t you? Perhaps you’ll get used to it eventually, and learn to compensate with your other senses.
