The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

"Well to start off the reason why the German Luftwaffe had complete control of the skies early in the war was because they had the better aircraft.' Until they met the Spitfire they remained in control until the battle of Britian the Luftwaffe never came on a aircraft that could beat the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in a Dogfight,' sam said. "The 109 was also the plane of choice for the top 3 aces of the war,' sam said.

Recovering from the awkward slip in the shallow water that had left him thoroughly drenched, Pangaea stood up. The water was still only knee-deep (which, for Pangaea, was less than a foot), but as a result of having fallen flat on his stomach, he had managed to submerge himself completely. Pangaea imagined that he must be quite ridiculous-looking, with every feather on his body dripping wet; a suspicion apparently confirmed by the muffled snickering sounds he could hear coming from Guido’s direction.

Pangaea had his back to Guido, and twisted his flexible neck around to look at him. However, he turned his head so quickly that the wet, drooping plumes on his crown swung around and slapped him in the face, covering his left eye. He emitted a small squawk of surprise, and tossed his head to dislodge his uncomfortable accidental half-blindfold. Unfortunately, his efforts resulted in the wet feathers flipping in a sideways arc over the top of his head, hitting him in his other eye. “Gaaahh!” he shrilled in frustration. This time, he used his hands to lift the feathers out of his face, gently squeezed the water out of them, and slicked them back over his nape. Turning around bodily this time, he was finally able to get a clear look at Guido, still standing on the bank, desperately struggling to hold in his laughter.

Bearing a slightly strangled-looking smirk himself, Pangaea nonchalantly acknowledged his ignominious state in his usual manner: making fun of himself before anyone else could. “Falling over, and looking ridiculous,” he said, “two things I’m very good at.”

“Sorry...I’m sorry,” Guido panted, “I shouldn’t be laughing.”

“No, go ahead; that’s slapstick for ya,” Pangaea replied, “painful and/or embarrassing things happening to somebody else. Humor’s a weird thing, innit?”

“Yeah...I guess...” Guido said. “It’s weird: for as long as I can remember, just about everyone I’ve met has told me that I was funny-looking. Thing is, since I’d never seen another one of my kind until I met you, I didn’t realize how right they were.”

“In other words, now that you’ve got another one of your species to look at as reference, you understand what they were laughing at.”

“Well...yeah,” Guido replied, sheepishly. Having gotten over his amusement at Pangaea’s situation, he changed the subject. “So, uh...what are you going to do now?”

“Well, since I’m already soaked, I might as well swim for a bit,” Pangaea replied. “I don’t really mind getting or being wet; it’s drying off that I find uncomfortable. So I might as well put it off for as long as I can. Sure you won’t join me?”

“Y–Y–Yeah, I’m sure,” Guido said, giving the water an uneasy glance.

“Well, I might stay in for a while, so I don’t mind if you leave, but first there’s something I need to do.”

“What?” Guido asked.

In response, Pangaea ran through the water towards Guido and deliberately fell forward, plowing into the water to create a miniature wave that splashed the smaller glider.

Guido spluttered in surprise. He was nowhere near as wet as Pangaea had been, but the splash had nonetheless caught him completely off-guard.

Pangaea uttered a Curly-style “n’yuk-n’yuk-n’yuk” of amused satisfaction. “Sorry,” he said as he turned to head out into the deeper water, “I couldn’t resist.”

Guido sighed. “I knew I shouldn’t have laughed at him,” he muttered.

"The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was also one of the most effective dive bombers of the war,' sam said. "It kept fighting up til the end of the war.' The Ju-87G had a pair of anti tank gun attached to it with one slung under each wing and it proved to be a very effective tank butser,' sam said.

Anna snorted and laughed at Pangaea's antics as she swam around.

"Could you drop me off, Anna?" Cera asked.

"Sure," Anna replied before she swam over to the shallow water.  "Here we are."

"Thanks," Cera said as she climbed off of Anna.  "That was fun."

"Glad to hear it," Anna said.  "Would anybody else like to go for a water ride?"  Meanwhile, Ducky and Tricia continued to swim and splash around.

(I'll double-post in attempts to breathe life back into this RP.)

Anna did not hear anybody speak up.

"Well, there's my answer I guess," Anna chuckled before she continued to swim.

Red Claw groaned from all the hard day's work he had, feeling a sense of new energy from defeating a sharp tooth and consuming the energy of it. It was a very interesting taste, but he wasn't concerned about taste, he wanted energy for himself and the group to keep them around to help him around. He felt a sense of ease, hearing the wind rustling through the trees, feeling a sense of calm.

In the Great Valley, Rebecca knew that it was getting a bit late. So she went to Pterano and said, "Pterano, I don't believe you have seen Petrie have you?"

In the thundering falls, Little Foot watched his friends play around and he saw Cera by herself, so he started swimming toward her and began to splash her.

"Got you Cera!"

Amy still waited for Rick's response, but while she was, she thought over the day and what happened. She was glad things were back as they should be, but she also wondered if she should find a way home too.

"Hey!" Cera yelped when she felt herself bet splashed.  She then heard Littlefoot's voice and turned toward him.

"Alright, Littlefoot!  You asked for it!" Cera laughed as she charged in Littlefoot's direction and splashed him back.

Petrie was watching his friends playing in the water and cheered them on.

"you both doing well." Petrie said.

Mim and Flapper continued to work on the wall, Mim working on getting smaller stones she can lift onto the wall and Flapper on trying to make sure the stones fit together as well as possible.

Grandpa longneck looked over the wall to see how things were going so far.

Belmont chuckled at the sight of Littlefoot and Cera splashing each other, for once, everything was great and no one would have to worry about Red Claw or anything at that.

Shorty had just arrived at the Thundering Falls and had caught sight of Littlefoot and Cera enjoying themselves, but Shorty being who he was, casully walked over to where his adoptive brother and the beige threehorn were playing, then he whipped his tail into the water, splashing both of them.

"Now you both are gonna get it!" Cera laughed as she began to splash at both Littlefoot and Shorty.  Meanwhile, Tricia swam over to Guido.  She giggled mischievously before she stuck her face under water, brought her head back up, and spat a spout of water at Guido.

Little Foot lost his balance for a moment from the motion of the splashes,

"Whoa..." Then when he regained his balance, he splashed Cera again and tried to splash Shorty too.

"That's for turning against your own brother!" Little Foot jokingly commented.

Petrie was about to go see how littlefoot was once he saw him start to loose his balance but seeing him recover and return to splashing he stayed where he was and watched, not liking to get into the water himself.

Grandpa Longneck looked at the stone wall they had made, "It looks ok to me so far, what does everyone else think?" He asked looking over the stone wall before turning his head to look at the others present.

"I just chose to side with the Threehorn, that's all" Shorty responded before being drenched with water.

"Heeeyyy!" Guido squawked as Tricia doused him with water, "I was just starting to dry off!"

But even Guido found it hard to resist a water fight, and a playful smile crept across his face. "Oh, you think it's funny getting your part-time babysitter wet, huh?" he scolded Tricia teasingly, "Well, how about this?" Leaning out over the water from his position on the bank, Guido scooped up handfuls of water and splashed them at Tricia.

"Guido have fun?  That good." Petrie said to Guido.

"How high should the stone wall be?" Flapper asked as he moved a small stone or to so it fit into the stone wall better, thinking it would be better if they had tools to shape stone and make some concrete especially elastic type of concrete to be more resistant to cracking under earthquakes.

Tricia giggled as she began to splash Guido back by using the other trick she had learned from Anna, by using her tail to splash water at the glider.

“Oh, hey, Petrie,” Guido said, acknowledging his flyer friend quickly as he struggled to counter Tricia’s splashes with his own. “Sorry, I’m kinda in the middle of a water fi–WHOA!” In his efforts to keep up with Tricia’s copious splashing, Guido had been leaning further and further forward over the water. Finally losing his balance, he plunged face-first into the pool (fortunately for him, the water was shallow this close to shore, but not so shallow that he hurt himself falling in). Sputtering and spitting water, Guido stood up. He had already been wet from Tricia’s splashing, but now he was completely drenched. Recognizing this, he glanced at his reflection.

“Wow, whaddaya know?” he murmured, his tone devoid of surprise, “I look just as ridiculous when I’m all wet as Pangaea does.”

Amy peeked over and saw Guido getting wet, so she approached him and asked, "You okay Guido?"

Meanwhile at the wall, Mr. Three Horn was helping building up the wall and filling in the hole.

"Looking good, we'll probably get this done in no time." He said, trying to take charge, as he usually tried to do.
