"Yeah, I kinda have the ability to live forever," Anne reminded her teammates. "As does Annabelle and her little brother here," she said, pointing to Beller.

"Is there anything i can do mommy?" the hell pup asked.

"Head back to our cave, dear," Anne instructed to her son.

"If that's true, I don't know whether I want to know or don't want to know what immortals caused throughout history," Itchy noted.

"Never mind that for now," Anne said, "We're going to have to act soon if we want to stop my niece."

Itchy, Bess, and Tank were one team while Charlie, Anne, and Sasha were the other.

"I'll admit I'm starting to get used to these new fur colors," Bess admitted.

Anne listened carefully near the wall. "I think Annabelle's still in there," she whispered.

"Enhanced hearing," Anne explained, "It's one of the powers I was given at my birth. I also had the powers of an enchantress, which is how I was able to mess with some people for a while, because for several milleniums all the guardian angels were male, so they all fell for my charms...except for Annabelle's dad, who fell for me even after the charm wore off."

She put her ear against the wall again, "Sounds like Annabelle's got her cousin fooled," she noted.

"Good thinking Itchy," Bess nodded, spreading her bat wings and flying to their new training area.

Belladonna was having Annabelle straighten up her lair, and was putting her through a very rigorous test.. Annabelle didn't dare refuse, she knew that hell was a very tightly controlled chain of command, refuse an order even a tiny one, and it was off to torment for you for a few centuries..
