"I think I'll keep this on for now," Itchy added, referring to his hell collar. Flapping into his air with his bat-like wings, he went in the direction of David's house.

MEANWHILE.........

David was now sure there was someone or thing in his house. He was now nervous. Had it been Charlie and the others, there surely would have made that obvious by now. He opened his window a crack, just in case...

After putting away the demon collar, Charlie led the way to David's house, with Tank among those in the rear...

Hawk reached David's house first, and quickly caught a whiff of something very wrong nearby...

The creatures glided about the lower half of the house, one of which came to a stop at the bottom of a set of stairs...

David heard a pair of footsteps ascending the stairs at an unnatural pace. He knew this couldn't be good.

Hawk cursed to himself as he tried to find a way inside, and spotted a conveniently open window at the side of the house. He wasted no time in getting in...

David decided to not take any risks and climb out of the window. However, he happened to do this as Hawk was climbing into it, so there was a little rough landing.

Hawk collided with David as they were both going through the window in different directions. He got up just as the door to David's room had opened slowly and one of the cloaked creatures stood there, staring at them with glowing eyes. Hawk bared his teeth as he stood between David and the monster...

Charlie reached the house first and caught a whiff of a damp ashy odor nearby, but there was no fire or water. "What in the world is that smell?" he asked, looking around...

Keeping between David and the monster, Hawk began moving back towards the window.

The monster gave an unnatural deep breath as it began to glide towards them...

Charlie found an open kitchen window and jumped through it. When he landed, he found himself face-to-face with another cloaked creature...

"I should've seen this coming..." Anne said, angry at herself.

Charlie side-stepped the creature downstairs as it lunged at him. A second appeared around the corner when it noticed a commotion in the kitchen.

Tank's jaw dropped at what he saw. "What in heck are they?!"

Further outside the house, another figure appeared to see what is going on...

Itchy and Bess, readying for a fight, reapplied their Hell collars.

With one paw, Hawk grabbed one of David's shirts, lying on the floor, and hurled it at the monster, wrapping around the hood. "Out the window!" he yelled, and pulled David towards where the boy had initially tried to escape from...

Tank puts his own collar on, and flew straight at the nearest monster, whom effortlessly glided aside and swung a taloned claw at him. A direct hit sent the stray through a cabinet door...

Itchy went to make the next move. He stayed flapping his bat-like wings in the air, and prepared a massive fire breath. "Stay clear!" he called to his friends.

Bess was thinking of trying the dragon transformation. "I'll need to concentrate for several seconds, but I don't think I can get that opportunity."

"Gotcha!" David nodded without thinking, following Hawk as quickly as he could, climbing out of the window.

Down in Hell, Beller and Annabelle's father Damien were staying there (Mainly cause that was their home) to keep an eye on Belladonna. "Daddy, what's cousin Belladonna doing?" the hell pup asked innocently.

As David & Hawk disappeared through the window, the monster ripped the shirt off its head, and barely noticed the two escaping outside...

Charlie was not up for the idea of a flamethrower in David's house, but he got out of the way just the same to check on Tank, whom was coming too as he crawled from the mess.

The two wraith-like creatures converged on the intruders and began to conjure their own dark magic...
