Just as Tank was about to land, a beam of light appears out of nowhere towards him, but another flying light, more of large disk, shot out from another direction to intercept the first light. The first light exploded before it would hit the collie-mix, but the disk was close enough to shatter the demon collar, dropping him a few feet to the ground. He landed with a thud as the disk curved away and out of sight...

"Ow..."

The Ravic was reeled back by the force, dropping tens of feet away. Charlie himself landed backwards from the sudden release. He held up the item long enough to find that one of the creature's arms still clings to the object, but the arm soon dissolves to ash...

The marauding ghosts suddenly stop in their tracks...

"OK..." Tank said he got back up. "That was stranger than a 5-foot tumbleweed chasing me over a half-mile in the desert..."

"OK...um..." Charlie examined the thing, shaking it a little bit to see if it was hollow. "Alakazam, return to where you...came?"

Strangely enough, the spirits seemed to comply as they reformed into balls of light and sink into the ground...

The Ravic, meanwhile, got back up and its arm regenerates...

"Wait.." Anne realized. "That thing can control them? Then try telling them to lend us a paw here!" She got into battle ready position, as did Itchy.

"I think those things might be on our side," Itchy commented.

"Oh right..." Charlie responded. "Alamazoo, come back and do my voodoo!"

As pathetic as it was, the spirits again complied and reformed from the earth.

"OK, team! Go get that Ravic!"

The ghosts turned on the cloaked monster and slowly converged on its position. The Ravic could've easily escaped, but it seemed like it was ordered not to. With its renewed claws, it reached underneath its cloak and pulled out what looks like a small black canister...

"I get the feeling we should get rid of that thing," Anne replied zooming down to knock the canister out of the Ravic's claw.

The force of the strike knocks the canister from the Ravic's grip, but as the canister hit the ground, it explodes and sends a visible shockwave across the ground. Charlie, Itchy, Anne, & Annabelle would remain unscathed, but the Ravic, the ghosts, and the object Charlie's holding dissintegrated from sight...
