"Gotcha Tank," David nodded, carefully examining the ceiling to know where it was safe. "Sasha! Bess!" He called in every direction he could.

"Good thinking," Anne said, flying faster and looking at the island closely. There had to be something off....

" see if that collars glows  If it does , hold it up so i can see where you are.. its so dark in here...

Bess did, and sure enough, it glowed a hellish-red light.

"As good a light as any," Bess figured.

Sasha reached over and hugged her friend her voice catching in her thought " i'm sorry I got us stuck in here' she said , her voice almost a whisper..

"It's ok...I know we'll get out," Bess said. "Want to use this?" she asked, offering Sasha the collar.

as a torch.. sure" Sasha said taking the necklace and hholding it bove her head there wasn't much to look at the debris sretched from the floor to the ceiling, although on closer imspection muchg of the debris was thin ceiling tiles..

"Do you see a path out of here?" Bess asked.

' we cpuld climb up the debris to the ceiling, but that would be very risky, it collapses on us, we're both dead..on the plus side, we'd both go to heaven, on the downside i'd be stuck with Charlie for eternity, literally.."Sasha frowned..

"Well, I want to live," Bess said. "I don't if I can have puppies once I'm up there."

Never thought about that, but i don't think you can. the dead have no use for children, only the living do.. now try and see if you can punch a small hole to let fresh air in...' Sasha said

Bess tried her best, managing to pet a few perforations in the wall.

"I was thinking...if we do die, what if one of us volunteers to be a hellhound so we can spy on the bad guys 24/7?"

" Bess Dear , i don't think it works that way. We don't want to go to the other place, ever.. I'd much rather float on the cloud, then burn in a fiery pit..

"True..." Bess admitted, "Though my plan was to be a spy, who could go between realms as we pleased, and maybe be the ones who give out punishment, not take it..."

"Anyways, if you're worried about an eternity with Charlie, Annabelle once told me she had a crush on him after the first time he died."

" Well, he has a way with the females.. I wonder why it never worked out between them although I guess you can't have a relationship of intimacy with your superior angel.. I'm gyessing

"Well, she told me one time that if long ago, Charlie ended up going to Hell, she would've aranged it so Anne would've been his torturer so he wouldn't have it so bad."
"Also, I heard that some of the hellhounds who are assigned to be torturers by heaven, those are the ones who don't like Belladonna. Kind of like Annabelle's mom."

" and how exactly do you know all this? Did you die previously and were set back? Sasha said her eyes widened..

"No, Annabelle told me this. She didn't want to talk about Charlie to you, since she was worried it could mess up you and charlie's relationship," Bess replied honestly.

Well, its not like our relationship isn't messed up already.. in fact Annabelle can have him if she wants him.. hes never really reliable for me.. which is why we're going to switch boyfriends ...Sasha said..

"And if we die," Bess thought, "You can ask for enchantress powers like Annabelle's mom, that could help you find a dog on the other side."

While trying to sniff out the girls' location, Tank remembered the collar and puts it on, shifting quite naturally to demonic form and took to the air above the wreck.  "Sasha!  Bess!"  he called out again...
