Zekiel's eyes widened at what he saw. "Raphael's Staff!"

"What staff?" Tank said after he dodged one Ravic's swipe...

"The only thing that could defeat the dark sphere over us. But if she is behind this..."

Zoria aimed the point of the staff at Beller. "All of you! Stay where you are, or this little hellhound will be the first to perish!"

"You think she could?" Tank asked.

"The staff has more than enough power to destroy demons. The child won't be able to escape if he tried..."

Beller began to quiver in fear, not moving an inch. "Mom..." he shivered...

"You...." Anne said, in silent fury to both Zoria and Belladonna. "If you touch him..."

Itchy and Bess didn't know how to act. They didn't know the hellpup, but they didn't want to see someone that young hurt.

"Zoria!" Zekiel shouted. "Why!? You were among the best of us! And you betray the Order?! All for revenge?!"

"You and the Orders don't get it, do you?" Zoria replied. "It was more than revenge. Our heavens have been contaminated with the cur when she spread her wickedness and turned our angels against us! And then spawned half-breeds to mock us in our domain! Such an evil bloodline must end! By whatever means necessary!"

"You've gone mad! Did you lie to yourself so many times you believe it?! And you dealt with the lowest of devils to have your way!"

"I am the one with the Staff! I shall be the one to purify the heavens! And it shall be the worth of any mortal sacrifice for the greater good!"

"She's gonna hurt the others?" Tank started forward, but Zekiel stopped him...

In the distance, a faint glow appeared in the dark sky...

Beller began to cry, fearing his fate would arrive any second.

"What's that?" Bess asked, noticing the glow appear.

The glow slowly became bigger, soon revealing that it was coming closer, and then it was indeed a fireball coming straight towards them... Until it suddenly dropped to the ground in front of them, incinerating a whole mass of Ravics, Pyres, & Banshees, kicking up a lot of dust in the process. It took minutes for the dust to settle revealing a hulking creature of darkness, only his face, though different, was familiar...

Even Blight was taken aback. "So he's really gone to the dark side!" he said out loud...

The other heroes couldn't believe what they had just seen, though they appreciated the destruction of the dark creatures.

"It can't be..." Bess said.

"Charlie?...." Itchy asked in awe.

Anne looked for an opening to rescue her son.

Charlie didn't reply, but it was Zoria who responded, by diverting her staff towards Charlie, and fired a bright blast at him, who took to the air to dodge it...

This moment gave Zekiel his opportunity to toss his shield like a Frisbee towards Beller. It would scoop the little hellhound up in the shield, which he would ride it like a flying sled...

Beller watched as the shield scooped him up, and held on as it took safely away from Zoria.

"Wow..." Itchy said, watching his friend fight in his hellhound form.

The shield started to turn in a wide arc back towards the heroes, carrying Beller to his mother. Blight started to move after him, but Zekiel wouldn't allow it. He then threw his sword with strength, the blade almost singing as it spun towards Blight. The demonic cat simply turned his body to the side, and the sword whizzed past, making its way to the obelisk...and sliced a bit of rope before it disappeared in the fog...

Charlie was surprisingly nimble as he dodged every blast of light from Zoria, but her aim was getting sharper...

the rope near Sasha grew slackened and she suddenly fell down to the ground landing with a crash, and lay still..

Beller sighed in relief as he safely reached Anne's paws.

Anne held her child in a warm embrace, but she knew the showdown was still underway. "Dear, get Beller home safe.." she told Dameon.

"Beat her Charlie!" Bess and Itchy called.

Waves of Ravics and Pyres closed in around the group...

Zekiel picked up his shield, although it could do little now...

Zoria lost her temper and let loose a wide blast, to which even Charlie could not escape. He was enveloped in the light, and fell from the sky, hitting the earth...

Itchy and Bess used their remaining angel powers to take out a few of the weaker ravics and pyres.

"Charlie!" Itchy cried as his friend was hit.

Meanwhile, the ones held captive were now loose. David, who could see the cage where the whippets were held, called "Annabelle, could you get us an angel pin over here...
