There are companies that facilitate the sales of popular web domains, but I'm afraid my case is too low-key for them to take part in it. I think you have to have a site worth $10,000+ in order for them too even look at it.
Typically when you want to sell a low-profile domain, you just change the home page to say something to the effect of: "This domain is for sale. Contact me at MyName@email.com to inquire about purchasing." I sold a website a loooooooong time ago for $2,200 to a foreign investor. The domain was
www.technologycentral.net. I really should have kept it, but I spent about $50 for the domain and didn't have the knowledge or expertise to be able to use it properly, so I sold it. I purchased the domain when I was 7 or 8(I can't remember the exact age).
