And the White House burned, burned, burned,
And we’re the one’s that did it!
It burned, burned, burned,
While the president ran and cried.
It burned, burned, burned,
And things were very historical.
And the Americans ran and cried like a bunch of little babies
Waa waa waah!
In the War of 1812!
One correction from the German historican
It was the British not the Canadians who burned the White House (which unlike popular myth tells WAS already white by the time of the burning). Of course Canada was a British colony at that time, but unless I'm very mistaken none of the British outfits present was recruited from Canadian volunteers

:
And if indeed there were Canadians, don't let Mr. Bush find out, or there will be demands for repaiment.
I wonder why they call it the war of 1812 anyway. When that war was named nobody seemed to care that the largest battle of the war, the battle of New Orleans, didn't take place before 1815 (when in Europe they had already settled for a peace treaty, but the news hadn't yet reached the new world). The burning of the White House was in 1814.....
Oh gee, the historian is talking out of topic.
