Ryu, because Hadoken and Shoryuken are 1-hit-kill attacks in the MMX series, as seen in the first two games.

I'll say Fox McCloud coz the Arwing has instant upgradable lasers and his moves and "All Range Mode" on Lylat Wars was just awesome! (Lylat Wars for those of you that don't know is the European title for Star Fox 64. Some trademark or licensing issue that led Nintendo Europe to change the name...dunno why though).
