New (HUGE Petrie and Pterano lover)

Hello everyone, Jrd89 here.

What can I say? This site is absolutely wonderful. I had no idea that they had such a huge LBT fansite.

I'm 20, but don't let that fool you. I'm different. I don't think about the usual filthy nasty stuff normal 20 year olds think of (pornos, tobacco, alcohol, beer)

YUCK!!!!!! I am much cleaner and friendlier.

I can remember all the LBT movies when they were BRAND new, as far back as TLBT III in 1995. I have one sharp memory.....

My favorite character is Petrie (by far the funniest and cutest character)

About 2 weeks ago (At first I thought I was a terrible drawer), I printed out a few Petrie Pictures and tried to copy them (using those as models), I didn't cheat. I free-handedly drew them. It took me between 30-45 minutes for each picture but after I got into my first drawing, I thought...

"WOW, this is AMAZING, I draw AWESOME!" (I discovered a hidden talent I thought I never had)

Then a few days later, I made my own Pteranodon (or flyer), I named him Ptero I do think he is one cute flyer, too.

In sizing him, I made him bigger than Petrie, and smaller than Pterano.

(I only did simple drawings using just regular printer paper and a mechanical pencil.)

Believe me, most of the forum people here are 20+ and most of us think the same way as you do.

I'm not, I'm only 16..

Not into that stuff either though.

Welcome to the site, and I hope you have a lot of fun here!

I'd like to add that not only are we a bunch of clean and decent young folks, but we're also a much friendlier group of young folks than those who are into all that garbage. In fact, I think growing up with a series like LBT taught me so much on how to be a friend and be kind to others. It seems like others here probably learned from LBT as well

Don't think you are the only one of your age around here. I'm 25 myself and there are many others of similar age and a few significantly older here.
I am particularly happy to hear you are into drawing LBT characters. Will you show us some of your art?

Lemmie tell you, we've got some members that are older than thirty on here. I think we have someone who's in their forties. In this forum, you're in the "middle aged" group

But as for me, I'm nearly seventeen.

LBT...it's the best anti-drug

Anyway, have lots of fun. We all do...especially when we have big ol' mongo discussions about a simple comment or when something goes completely wrong.

I'm surprised that Pterano hasn't made a return in any of the LBT series shows, though it is a pattern that no villian has ever come back after being present in a movie with LBT.

The humble mechanical pencil is the ultimate drawing weapon. Let none fool you, for with it you can create masterpeices with but the wave of a hand... okay, maybe a little more effort than that, but you get the idea.

Be sure to show ya work, because I am a huge fan of pencil drawings.

That's not so unheard of. I'm 21, and I don't even like the taste of alcohol.

Glad to have you on board! I admit, I drink sometimes but only on Christmas and New Years. And even then, it's oh so little.

Oh, and please, do show us your artwork! As someone who also draws by hand, I look forward to any pencil drawings!
