Cleve nodded in agreement. "I'd imagine so," Cleve said, "I was caught in a WWI naval battle between some a German cruiser and a Russinan cruiser named Bayan. Some shell landed near me and game me this big gash." Cleve lifted up his injured arm.

Chomper and Ruby both winced at the sight.

"But let's try to forget that over some rest and a warm fire. My clothes are still drenched from that battle," Cleve continued, "And did you bring bandages, James?"

"Yeah we should seal this part of the cave off with a rock so noone else enters the portal," Frank said.

"Me agree." Petrie said nodding, "No one else get hurted that way, or lost." He said. Spike nodded agreeing with them.

"Let's seal it off," Cleve agreed, "I don't want anyone else getting in there and possibly getting hurt."

"Or something getting out and hurting us," Ruby pointed out.

"I saw an hollow log a little bit back in the cave," Chomper said.

"Very well then," Cleve said, getting off the ground, "Let's get it."

"Me glad to." Petrie said.

"But if some are hurted should your hurts not be covered. Our mommy puts leaves on your hurts?" Ducky said with concern in her voice as she looked at those who had been wounded.

"I'll help carry the log. Once I get the fire going," Deimos said. He then struck several sparks from the flints James carried in his backpack onto a pile of dried grass he scavenged from the outside. Once that got started, he tossed in some twigs.

James nodded and retrieved some some cotton gauze from his backpack and handed it to Cleve.

Frank came to the part of the cave where the log was. "Well let's get this moved then," Frank said.

"Now we have light and warmth here. It is good, it is it is." Ducky said.

Cleve gladly took the cotton gauze and held it over his arm. The wound already stopped bleeding, but the wood splinter was still there. Fortuneately, Cleve was right-handed, and the wound was on his left arm. He winced as he pulled out the splinter but did not scream. It started bleeding again, so he quickly placed the cotton gauze over the wound.

"Don't worry about me," Cleve said, "This wound is not serious. I can still help move the log."

Using his feet, Cleve pushed the log onto its side and rolled it towards the portal.

Frank rolled the log using his arms. Littlefoot rolled the log using his head.

Deimos helped push the log.

"I think the Great Valley is the best place for a permanent base camp," James said. "We could keep some supplies here so we can search for the planes but when we do, we'll stay in the main encampment there."
