"We'll smoke half of it some more so we can have a easy high energy food," James said, taking off some of the fish and passing it around.

Deimos politely declined the fish and tossed the last few sticks in the fire. "You guys need more firewood?" he asked.

"We do but we're going to sleep soon."

Dan joined in the clapping, "Good singing and song." He said smiling.

Cleve slowly got up and said: "Aw heck. I might as well try singing the National Anthem."

Cleve saluted and started singing. He was a little flat on some of the higher notes, but in general, it wasn't too bad.

"So, who wants to keep watch tonight?" Cleve asked as he started eating a fish.

Deimos lay down in his nest. His stone knife lay on a rock next to him. "Wake me if anything comes up," he said.

James munched on the smoky and spicy fish. "I'm going to sleep soon. Frank, could you keep the fire smoldering?" he asked.

Dan nodded to Frank, "As long as you are sure." He said then started to get ready to go to sleep before going to sleep.

Frank watched the others fall asleep keeping an eye on the fire which was still smoldering. "Good night guys." he said silently to himself.

James entered his car, put the safety on his shotgun and placed it on the passenger's seat. He leaned back in the driver's seat and fell asleep.

Cleve slept soundly for the rest of the night. He was already tired from keeping watch last night, and the sharpteeth attack only made him more tired. He immediately fell asleep on the ground, kept warm by the slowly diminishing fire.

Frank kepted watching the fire trying to stay awake. He still was puzzled why himself and the others had come here. "Just what is the purpuse of us being here here," he asked looking up at the stars not expecting an answer.

Deimos awoke to catch some fish to eat. He tossed a large fish on the shore next to Frank. He then sat down near the fire.

"Where exactly are you from? I've never seen anything like you," he asked. He tossed a twig onto the fire.

"I'm from a country called Germany Cleve, Matt, James, Dan ,and I are all from the future," frank said. Frank stuck the fish on a stick before he started cooking it over the fire.

Deimos sighed. "Frank, that was my snack," he said. He then waded into the lake to catch another fish. "In any case, I'm originally from the Mysterious Beyond."

Dan awoke. Laying there for a short time before he sat up, not liking to just sudddently get up very quickly. He yawned a bit as he sat up and looked around.

Frank rolled over on the damp ground, a little bit closer to the fire. From watching Cleve's twitching face, one can easily tell that he was dreaming.
