Cleve nodded and replied, "Yeah, just imagine what would happen if Hitler manages to get these things and put them into battle. It sounds like a funny idea, but think about it. Hitler's situation is probably looking fairly bleak as of 1945, right Frank? He's crazy enough to try anything. Imagine those Domeheads charging into Allied troops and ramming them down. We have to stop that from happening."

Adam stood back, and stared at the skeleton. "He must have been from my group. It looks like he's been here for a long time, a couple of years perhaps."

Deimos scratched his chin in thought. Suddenly, a horrifying thought came into his head. Even though he had very limited knowledge about Hitler and WWII (mostly from conversations with Frank, Cleve and the others), he knew enough that Hitler was an enemy. "You know, when dinosaur herds get in bad position, we migrate. What if Hitler led his herd into one of these portals and it opened somewhere in this time?"

"Why are the 'Allies' attacking the homes of Hitler and his herd?" Theo asked, picking up a rock. Having no knowledge about WWII, Theo assumed that the Allies were the aggressors and Hitler was defending his "herd".

Deimos looked at Theo. "I don't know too much about this whole thing," he admitted. "But if Frank and Cleve are right, Hitler is not defending his herd from anything. He led his herd on attacks on other herds."

Though this description was laughably crude, herds were the best saurian equivalent to nations and factions.

"He is an Austrain that was voted into power in Germany after World War 1 and attcaked poland in 1939 and in 1940 took over most of Europe." Frank said.

"Yes, he did attack other herds," Cleve said. It seemed to be an extreme understatement, but Cleve found no better words, "Humans, our species, is divided into races and nations. Races are made up of humans who share a similar characteristic, like blond hair and blue eyes, for example. Nations are made up of a single or multiple races living in a single place, kinda like the Great Valley. Hitler attacked other nations and races."

"Like the fast-biters from the Mysterious Beyond taking over the Great Valley and eating all the leafeaters?" Ruby asked.

"Precisely," Cleve replied, glad that he manged to explain the concepts clearly, "And that's way we need to stop him."

"Me scarded if that happeneded." Petrie said, hugging Ducky in his fear. Spike didn't like the idea of that sort of thing happening either.

"Some herds aren't as lucky as us," Ruby said, "Many of them don't live in the Great Valley, and they wonder out in the Mysterious Beyond. I've herd stories of entire herds being killed."

"It's dangerous in the Mysterious Beyond," Chomper added.

"Exactly the reason I don't want to stay out here for too long," Cleve replied, "If we want to salavage the canon and burry the pilot right now, let's get to work. If we want to return to the cave and wait until tomorrow, we can do that as well.

"Maybe there are other areas as nice as the great valley." Ducky said, thinking there may be such places.

Deimos and Theo listened to Cleve's history lesson.

"I'm afraid Deimos and myself can't help you, Cleve," Theo said. "We don't know anything about the future and I doubt Hitler is going to appear in here."

"If he does... Then we'll be ready for him," Deimos added. He then noticed the skies were rapidly darkening. "We don't have much time; it's getting dark and as Chomper said, you don't want to be outside of a shelter when it's nighttime."

James returned with some more firewood, which he tossed in the back of the cave.

"What's taking the others so long?" he asked as he sipped some cool water from his canteen.

"Being outside in the dark around here would be a very bad idea." Ducky said a bit uneasy at the idea of being outside in the dark.

"Me scarded of being out in mysterious beyond in open at night." Petrie said.

"Maybe we can finish here very fast then head back to the cave." Ducky said.

"Me hope so." Petrie said, hoping they would be able to star back soon.

"Maybe they found something very large and are slow getting back." Dan said shrugging a bit. "I do hope they get back soon, before it gets to dark."

Frank grabbed a piece of metal and started to dig a hole by the plane.

"I'll help you too, Frank," Cleve said, grabbing another piece of metal. He stuck it into the ground and tried to dig with it. It was nowhere as efficient as a shovel, but the ground was at least soft.

Chomper yawned and walked next to Ruby. "I'm tired," Chomper complained, "Let's go back to the cave." Ruby slowly led Chomper in the direction of the cave.

"I'll go back with you, Ruby. It'll be better to stay in a group." Adam said. He knew he should feel worse for the fallen human, since he was most likely one of his comrades that came in the same fleet of planes he did, but he just couldn't. He couldn't even remember who it might have been.

"I'll head back too" Cera said. "Today's been pretty exciting, and I'm tired."

Adam just kind of moaned at what Cera just said. "I hope tomorrow isn't as exciting."

"Maybe Spike can help, he's a good digger." Ducky said. She went over to help digging as did Petrie, not having a lot to do. Spike nodded to what Ducky said and went over to try to help also, thinking it was good to help others when one could.
