No more instant messaging for me.

As of tonight, I will no longer be actively using instant messaging as it has become very distracting (and addicting) and I'm not getting done what I need to when I want to, if that makes much sense to you guys. I will always answer emails so you can pop one off to me and expect a reply within a day. It's the daily instant messaging that has just taken over my life...and its time I took it back.

LOL I've been there! I'll still be on MSN, but I do have a lot of work to catch up on, so I may be less talkative, both on MSN and on the GoF in the near future.

Just to clarify, I won't stop coming here or going to boards. The IM is what keeps me online longer than I want to be.

I fail to see what's funny. A lot changes in five years Malte, and I didn't start even using IM until about two years ago....that's not very long ago in the scheme of things, and at this point in my life 2 + hours of IM a day is not going to work well. This is the best solution I could come up with to help snap an internet addiction that came about during the early part of this summer (largely thanks to no job for a while).

At the moment I haven't even been on a instant messenger that much I have no time to even start up e-messenger before the 15 minute limit is up if there people waiting to use it. And i just check emails at the moment since I profer to do other things at the moment plus when I am in the UK when I get back it would be on but I wouldn't speak to many people on it. Jason is the one I mostly speak to online on msn messenger.
