The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Leaving this Saturday

I will be leaving to go to Virginia Saturday morning.  I am going to my grandparents house.  You know, the ones who have the neighbours with pet bison! :D I get to see my little bison again! :D  (only now, he isn;t so little :cry2  :cry2  :cry  :cry ) Oh I heard they also have some of those fainting goats now!! :lol  :lol  Anyway, I'll be gone all next week.  They live in the country and have no internet so I most likely won't be online all next week. :cry

Oh God, depending on which one you're headed to you could be anywhere from an hour to a few hours from me.  :wow  :wow  You just wandered (or will be wandering) into my territory.  :lol

Well everyone.  This is most likely the last you'll hear from me until next Saturday.  I might be able to get on tomorrow because my cousins who live next door to my grandparents have dial up connections.  Just that it takes forever.  So I'll say it again.  See ya later!  :wave  :wave  :wave  :wave  Btw, I am going to
Busch Gardens in Williamsburg on the way back.

Cool!
Williamsburg VA is quite an interesting place for anyone interested in history. Unless I'm very mistaken Yorktown (the world turned upside down) is just a stone throw away too. Oh boy, I wish I could go there now!  :yes

Hi!  I am on the computer at my cousin's house.  I might be able to post more later but my sister is here and I don't want her to know that I am a maember of this site.  They are all up stairs.  Anyway, I was going to say I arrived safely in Virginia.  Haven't gotten to see Bubu yet. :cry  :cry  :cry2  :cry2  :wave  :wave  :wave

Um, searching the browser history (unless you clear it) will tell the owner of the computer where you've been to if they really want to find out. ;)  Hope that doesn't prevent you from posting here while on vacation, but if you're that paranoid about it, simply browsing while others aren't watching, won't prevent them from finding out.

Well, I only came to this site and my animal site.  I am at a hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia now.  We will go to Busch Gardens tomorrow and come home Saturday.  Bubu was fine and all but we didn't bring a camera so I didn't get any pictures. :cry  :cry  :cry2  :cry2 Well, we also left earlier than I had wanted so I only got to see him once.  More crying. :cry  :cry  :cry2  :cry2   The mountains were so beautiful.  One part of the interstate runs along the top and you gat a great view of the valley. :wow

Are you seeing any of Williamsburg's famous historical sights F-14?
A history fanatic from the other end of the world, like me, would kill to get there ;)
Well, almost.

Unfortunatle, I am not going to get to see any of the stuff here.  Just Busch Gardens.  I got to see some cool stuff while I was with my grandparents.  They live in Broadway, Virginia.  I got to see Endless Caverns in New Market.  It is called Endless Caverns because nobody has ever found the end of it.  It has bats.  We were 175 feet underground and we could see the stream that carved out the cavern 65 feet lower.  Obviously someone has been down to the stream because there was a light down there.  We also ate at a nice little place called the Southern Kitchen.  They had the best peanutbutter pie ever! :yes  :yes  :yes So, if you are ever in New Market, make sure to check it out. :yes

Its been years since I've been in caverns anywhere...there's some pretty close to here.  Certainly is nice if you've never done it before and gone underground to literally see how the earth has been shaped when we leave it to its whim. :)  Sounds like you're having a grand time in Virginia.
