Hello:
What it can work well are the original Zeo Zords, the ones that are no longer in use, because they are canon and they are still there, so that is a great idea. Maybe they can receive updates and new goodies as the rpg progress.

There are the original zeo zords. I guess they introduced the carrier zords to have another toy to get kids to buy. Usually the zords don't have a problem getting to the spot where the rangers are fairly quickly. It's not like the giant monster and the rangers have to sit and drink tea or coffee and wait till the zords can get there.

I was just mentioning a few zords that could still be around.

yeah, but pyramidas is the zeo carrier zord.

also I got an Idea.

OK Zedd and Rita kidnap those closet to the power rangers, and demand the zeo crystal.

Also Zedd and Rita did fight the Zeo rangers a couple of times.

Also who's up for (Drum roll please)PSYCHO RANGERS.

Psycho Green

Psycho Yellow

Psycho pink

Psycho Gold

and yes, I know the psycho rangers are from power rangers in space, but they are so awesome. Also I was thinking that they would have the same designs, only with a green and gold ranger, and they be six evil humans given powers derived from Zedd and Rita's dark and evil magic. and I would be willing to play as them.

also I would think it would be awesome if we brought in a kind of Silver Guardians- like group. we could call it the Guardian Angels.

I like the idea. It'll give me a chance to bring in someone I'm working on. Also, a certain old ranger will be coming back to act as a support for the new rangers.

They have high tech as I recall so they could get to earth. I think BIlly left in a spaceship. Not sure which episode or season think it was 4.

Which reminds me of something I heard, no idea if it was true or not. But originally billy was going to get the gold ranger powers but the actor wouldn't tell them if he would stay for the whole season or not so they asked the actor who use to do Jason if he'd return. Also the original story, I heard, was the reason billy kept leaving to do something would be revealed in the turbo movie that he was making the turbo morphers and zords, but since the actor left on bad terms that part of the story was dropped.

That is one of the changes I'd have done if I was going to gm a power rangers rp is I'd add that back in that billy made the turbo morpher and zords, along with other changes I'd make to power rangers history, but that is unimportant here.

A lot of ideas here since I left on tour! Thank you guys for bringing these up here, because it means we can certainly prolong this RP for a good length.

I absolutely love the idea of Billy for supporting the Zeo Rangers. He did in fact do that in the series, so it would only be logical to have him back again.

To add on to the Billy idea, what if Billy made some adjustments to the Zeo zords? If he originally designed the Turbo morphers and zords, it would make sense for him to make some modifications to the Zeo zords. When Billy ends up joing the rangers as tech support, we can use that to also reveal the zords as well. Now of course, we can go ahead with some other side plots before we bring in the zords and Billy, since I'm sure StarfallRaptor has some ideas of his own to pursue with Billy.

The Psycho Rangers were definitely the coolest villains of Space, so I don't mind using them. However, let's wait on that idea. We don't want to throw in a major plot like that til much later, when the rangers become more developed with their powers.

Same thing with the kidnapping idea. I like it, but it's too early to go through a major plot like that when the rangers are only just beginning. Usually the series would have some filler episodes before a major plot point, so I think we should do that for this.

I think we should pursue some character development plot points to get us underway. I know some ideas have been thrown around, but there is one that I would like to put forth for my character. I was thinking of having Rob doubt himself as leader after he succumbs to Goldar during a fight with him and a group of Putties. Patrick would begin ranting on him, claiming that he is not suitable to be leader, and Rob considers leaving the rangers. Goldar uses this to his advantage by kidnapping the other rangers and forcing Rob to fight him solo.

There are a couple other details that we could throw in there, but that's the basic gist of what I had in mind.

Hmm... with Bulk and Skull talking about wanting to be Rangers, I just got an idea. I was already going to have Billy use his old Ninja Wolf coin, and act as a second blue ranger, but now... How about a second team of Hero rangers, made up of old faces? Billy, Bulk, Skull, and two others, with the old Ninjazords.
Sound like a plan?

I object, first bulk would look terrible in a ranger costume, second even if you could pull it off, they'd have to undergo the whole ninja quest thing again.

Also Why not just make our own Rangers or ranger-like allies?

Some rangers still had their powers at the end of their seasons, all of light speed rescue, time force, spd (but they are in the future and some retired/quit). Some had their powers restored since their link to the morphing grid was restablished in the season 15 2 parter once a ranger.

Some other changes I'd have put in was for one, zordon got that sword thing from season 2 (forgot it's name) didn't transfer the 3 ranger's powers, but copied them. I got the idea since it clearly shows the 3 older rangers still fully morphed after their powers are supposedly transfered and would explain how Jason could morph in the forever red episode. & there was no explanation that I know of as to why the zeo rangers quit using their morphers. So tho the active ranger's power coins were damaged, in my altered history the original red, black and yellow are still whole and functional.

I'd have said they put them aside to use the turbo morphers and zords to get experience with them since their intention was to find folks they could pass the turbo morphers and zords onto since they could then keep the zeo morphers and have someone protect angel grove while they went to university elsewhere, got jobs elsewhere, tommy could go into racing, ect. Though I'd have also said Rocky was the first blue turbo ranger, and his successor would have been tommy's brother (or half brother whatever he was) not that stupid brat tho grows during the morph sequence.

Though obviously with my altered history adam gave up or passed up his zeo morpher sometime during turbo, and tommy sometime after the forever red episode .

I both like and dislike the idea of a second team of rangers. While I love the idea of bringing older faces back, I'm not quite sure about making them all rangers. It was not my intention to bring back many older faces, but I did like the idea of Billy as support like he was throughout Zeo. It certainly would make sense that his wolf coin would still be useful because the power coins were destroyed instead. The ninja zords were cool, and they could serve as a partner set for the Zeo zords.

The only reason why I could actually see Bulk and Skull as rangers is because they did actually fight at the season finale of Space. Sure, it was more comedic fighting than hardcore fighting, but they did prove they could stand up to the minions (I forget which ones they were at the time). I agree that Bulk would have to go through extensive working out, or perhaps Zordon could just zap him thin (doubt it though

).

My only concern is that with all of this we may run into a clutter of too many characters. It may get a little confusing keeping track of who is doing what, so if we were to go through with this we would have to keep that in mind. This is what I was thinking about when Rocky brought up the Silver Guardians. I like the idea of having a group like them in, but again there would be a lot of characters and keeping track of everybody could get out of hand.

That would certainly make it a bit simpler. Also, Billy could act as their mentor, having prior experience as a ranger before.
