Utah Jazz Coach Jerry Sloan Resigns
« on: February 10, 2011, 11:15:16 PM »

I'm not much for sports, but when this happened, I was shocked.  Jerry Sloan has been a part of the Jazz for as long as I can remember.  When my family moved to Utah, it didn't take us all long to fall for the Jazz and start cheering them on.

My family has loved every moment of it and it's going to be different from here on out.  It won't be the same, but we'll make do.

He will be remembered as one of the best coaches the Jazz ever had. (Not to mention one of the longest in NBA, period.) He has left of his own free accord and we will miss him being there.

Have a great life, Sloan.  We'll miss you!
