Good question. Uh...if they're going to overthrow the royal cat family, I say they should be family, not just some random cats who want the crown but have nothing in common, I just don't think it would make very much sense if that happened, but that's just my opinion.

For name ideas you could look for a webpage of Chinese names, or find a website to translate an English word to Mandarin, or Cantonese.

Speaking of names, one thing I discovered recently:

The real names of The Miao parents are Win Bao (Baba), and Shao Fung (Mama). I found this out according to an episode guide, so we can use that in place of their parental titles.
