I thoroughly enjoyed the new episode.
First off, I gotta be honest, this episode had a lot of potential to wind up with Rainbow Dash being severely focused on breaking the Wing Power record. Which is why I'm glad she not only recognized that they wouldn't be able to break that record and have to settle for the more important thing, getting water to Cloudsdale; but that she was also more in tune with the Element of Loyalty than some earlier episodes where instead of pressuring Fluttershy, Dash instead encouraged her. And I really liked that.
I also liked Twilight's line, "Do I look like I speak squirrel." Nice reference to her PPG character, Bubbles, and her ability to speak squirrel.
And big time thumbs up for a return appearance of Spitfire the Wonderbolt. Though come to think of it, there is one thing that got me thinking...
All in all, probably going to be in my top 5 episodes of Season 2. (Will come out with full official list of Season 2 stuff when the finale hits.)
PS: Be honest, you just had to watch or at least remember
this classic anime moment when they started mentioning Wing Power.
