Man the party cannons, everyone! Out on Entertainment Weekly, an article has gone out announcing the start date of the much-anticipated Season 4 Premiere. According to the article, expect to see new ponies on Saturday, November 23!

In the meantime, I have the MLP comics to keep me busy. Speaking of which, I wonder if volume 9 is out yet?

As far as MLP comics are concerned I only have the 1st graphic novel. I wonder when the 2nd will be out.

& I wonder how the micro series are I've heard about are. & if they'll be collected into a graphic novel at some point.

That's so awesome that is the same month Zelda: A Link Between Worlds the long waited sequel to A Link To The Past comes out as well. November can't come soon enough for us can't it. And I have all eight issues of the IDW Friendship Is Magic Comic Books. The 9th one just came out I think and I need to buy it. I'm collecting all of them. And I need to read them tho. I just don't have the time. Kor do you have any of the IDW Friendship Is Magic Comics?

The Micro Series is hit and miss.

Twilight's story- Terrible artwork + bland story

Rainbow Dash's story- Better artwork and story than Twi's

Rarity's story- Perhaps the best of the micro series. The artwork is nice and looks just like the main comics and it has hippy ponies. You can't go wrong with hippy ponies.

Fluttershy's story- Decent artwork(except for two certain panels with Rarity) but uninteresting story. Finishes before it even really gets going.

Pinkie's story- Second best in my opinion. The artwork is very good and Ponyacci is a great character.

Applejack's story- Pretty decent end to the Mane Six's stories. Biggest problem is that it again relies on Applejack being too stubborn to accept help to add conflict.

The next in the Micro Series is the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I don't know about the rest but I read that Princess Celestia and possibly Spike will be getting Micro comics too. And yes, the micro series will be collected into a graphic novel.

If it's hit & miss I may pass on the graphic novel collection of the micro series.

& @ Petrie85: "I do. I have volume 1 of the My Little Pony: Friendship is magic graphic novel. It collects, I think, the first 4 issues which I think are the first story arc. It also has 2 2 page stories, I guess from those issues, and an art gallery in the back, which I guess are the alternate covers.

Well the Micro Series has a rocky start but the later volumes are better. The only one I'd recommend skipping is Twilight's.

When it comes to comics I prefer the graphic novel issue collections over individual issues. So hard to skip individual issues. I may just skip getting the micro series collections since the quality seems very mixed for the writing and artwork from what you said. Similar to the Venom limited series of I think the 90's. The artwork and writing would vary from very good to awful.

Y'all may have heard of this: a guy marries a plushie of Twilight Sparkle. He acts like Twilight's completely real. It's like one of those "delusion fics" I'm a fan of brought to life.

I want to laugh at him for being so obesessed with the show, but at the same time, the guy clearly has serious mental health issues. And I'd feel like shit for making fun of someone with a mental illness.

God this guy need some serious help right now. He needs to see a slue of high trained doctors to help him out. I don't even wanna read it but I did and it's creepy and very strange. But even with all the doctors his strange condition can't be helped. And if he does have a mental disorder know that I'm not insulting him since I have my own issues to worry about but this guy is pretty high on the WTF Level. And hope he realizes she will never be real or nor Twilight Sparkle be real.

@ Kor I have 8 but need time to read them. You should also collect the other 7 of them. So you can catch up. They're 4.00 a comic I know but it's worth the money. I also need to collect some of the figurines as well since I only have a couple of them. I still need 21 more blind bags as well. Next Purchase will be a Friendship Is Magic Themed Bet Set. It comes with a Comforter and Bed Sheets with shipping 116.00. I'm, gonna start to save for that soon.

He needs to go into a psycho hospital. He needs help that is very freaky and very disturbing what he is doing. I'd get this freak some help right away. He is taking the show into a whole new world and it's not normal for this guy to be doing what he is doing. I've vaguely heard,years back not looked into it at all, that in Japan some guys are doing that with certain anime characters, on forums or something. Maybe he's schizophrenic or something, I don't know.

@ Petrie85 : I'll wait for volume 2. I think It is due to come out on September 24. I don't mind waiting and anyway I prefer graphic novels. I get a number of issues at once and if I don't mind waiting I get them cheaper then per issue usually and sometimes they may have alternate covers or other artwork in the back. I'm glad they have both monthly titles & the collected editions since that caters to both since I know there are some who prefer the monthly titles over collected graphic novels.

Anyway, mental illness or not, this guy is making himself look ridiculous. I hope that for his sake, when MLP ends, this whole him wanting to marry Twilight Sparkle thing blows over, everyone everywhere forgets about it and he tries to put it behind him. Otherwise, I'd say his life is pretty much done.

I do agree with you, however. Hopefully he'll kind of, snap out of it, so to speak. But, if he wants to marry a Twilight Sparkle plushy, then I say go for it, although I'm not exactly sure how he got that idea in his head in the first place. Is anyone giving him any trouble for it, though?

Maybe he is a psycho path in real life or something. Or he is a very lonely soul since he can't get a real girl friend he chooses to go down that let's have some dirty fun with a Twilight Sparkle Plushie. But anyhow I prefer the number 1-8 comics since they're good and I love the captions in them. They do a good job on making the comic books.

I would imagine he is getting quite a bit of crap for it. I mean when you go around saying you're going to marry a toy meant for little girls, I can't imagine people around him just saying "Oh, that's cool."

I wonder what he does when he decides to say, eat at a restaurant or go to the movies. Does he ask for a table for two or two tickets? Does he try to feed the plushie? That's gotta look pretty strange to the other patrons.
