Kopa meanwhile was finishing his run around the kingdom, unaware of what was going on with the other group Running was a way for him to focus within, a place for him to reflect about himself as a lion, rather than on his place in everything..so far, he thought the transition to being a prince was going well. he had the makings of good relationships with both kiara and Kovu. he was beginning to date vitani, whom he really liked, when he gave it some thought..

remember Damon there is a time and place for everything, jokes including Nala replied " we understand you are trying to improve..so we will cut you some slack..
Nuteri Climbed into the tree and started helping Rafiki look for the right supplies.. " When was the last time you cleaned this tree? Nuteri's voice came down from in the leaves..
_ Hey guys" Kopa said , running up to them ' just finished my run.. whats going on? He asked as he noticed grins on both Kiara's and Kovu's faces..

Kopa burst out laughing.. ' Ha Ha Ha! You're kidding right? Ok, what did Dad do to deserve this?
_ Its a form of payback for exiling Kovu before.. "Nala said " oh i see Kopa shrugged " well that all happened while I was training with Nuteri so it doesn't have any effect on me..So how long is dad going to have to look like that? " we really don't know, its pretty much up to Kovu.." nala said.. " Rafiki and Nuteri are going through Rafiki's stores of supplies to see if he has enough to do a full job, your dad is a big lion after all, and there a lot of mane and body to cover.. " For the mane I would suggest have him roll in a lot of mud,. " that only works in turning his mane brown.. we need to turn it to black. Nuteri cut in.. Kopa turned and looked at Vitani and Nuka, both looked like they were about to burst from laughter...

Kovu carefully climbed up the tree to help look through Rafiki's supplies. "Well, well, what do we have here?" he grinned widely at one spot.

Alright.. I'm going to have Zazu compose a " remember" list. And near the top of that will be " never piss off Kovu" Kopa smirked. " Hey dad It could be worse.. They could make you look like mom or Kiara.." Simba gave him a look " Don't go there Kopa.. alright? Its bad enough I'm probably going to spend weeks looking like my son-in law..
_ yes lets not embarass the king any more than necessary.. still this is nothing compared to what King Nuti had to endure? remember him Kopa/ " the king with 6 cubs? yeah I remember him..yeah he had 6 children , two boys and four girls.. honestly, i can't imagine why they would have had so many?" Rafiki and Nuteri dropped from the tree , both carrying supplies for the kings transformation.. . " we are going to need you guys to hold him down so we can get every part of him..' rafiki smiled.. " i figure this tranformation will last 6 weeks or so.. give or take a week.. " so in short You have no idea" Simba cracked..

Thats a no, Kovu. I have my fathers colors, and I am proud to have them. would you be willing to do the same, if the situation was reversed? Ask yourself that" simba said as Rafil spread the stuff for for fur on his back, it was slimy , icky and smelled.. kopa and Nala helped heep his head still while nuteri spread stuff on his mane.. which smelled even wlorse than the stuff on his back..
