The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Heh, I think there was a chatroom even WAY before the forum moved to invisionfree, but no, there isn't one ATM.

I also thought there was a topic on this somewhere....

If you guys want to start up a GoF chat room XAT has free ones to use.
You could always set up a day and time for GoF members to come together and chat. Admins and mods can even post and show youtube vids on XAT.
It also has a doodle board.

Its something to look into.

I think XAT is kinda confusing. I have an idea, how about Chatango?

Chatango is quite easy to use, sign up and then you're ready to chat. What do you think? :smile


You can assign chat moderators to monitor the chat, post youtube video links and post pictures. Smileys are included :smile

We simply used MSN for bigger GoF chats because the chatroom is pretty much empty constantly with such a small base of members.
