Deimos shook his head. "I didn't even open it because Mr. Bigmouth reported unusual magic signatures from it."

He gingerly passed the book to Spike. "Can you translate this or no?"

Captain Carson nodded. She looked behind her and saw a Mawashiian racer closing in on them. Ahead, a converging beam of lightning was fired from the Skylanders and it was closing in on them.

She swore softly. "Everyone, hold on!" She activated the engine boost and the ship surged forward just as the twin beams collided in a rather large explosion. She then pulled the ship into a hard bank, narrowly avoiding a large pillar. The armored engine nacelles on the bottom of the ship scraped the rocky obstacle.

Laude ended up being pushed out of the ring by Kovu.

"You both did good," Balto said to Kopa and Kovu, having watched from the crowd.

The move was sucvessful and managed to let the glider pull closer to the Skylandeers. Tiger lerft forth an immense flurry from his horns driving up the engine levels tremendously.' Use the Boost! He called up to Ratchet, who do so, firing the Seers team closer and closer towards the skylanders. As they crossed the line to begin the sEcond Lap, they were 2 seconds behind and 11 seconds ahead of Team Ozai. Midway through the Second lap, they passed The Skylanders by hitting them with a well placed chopping stick strike. As they tuey crossed the line to begin the last lap, Team Seer was now 6 seconds ahead.
_ Flash, Mona, Tigess and Dixie cheered wildly as the team began the last lap, with a big lead and pushing to make it even bigger.

Captain Carson decided to aim the ship through a narrow ring of rock in the mountains with an item box floating in the middle. The ship shuddered as a fishball fired from a Mawashiian racer smashed against it but they had enough of a lead that it wasn't too detrimental to them.

"Reactor status!" Captain Carson barked into the intercom. She looked at the mana gauge, it was empty but the reactor and engines might have enough residual energy to carry them through. If not, she could always activate the bolt-on engines.

Ms. Swimmer had been eliminated partway through the semifinals but she had given such a great performance for an off-worlder that there were crowds clamoring for her handprint.

The Saurolophus willingly obliged the crowd.

The Item turned out to be a defensive shield, as two bowls surrounded the glider.

Vushu cheered as she qualified for the finals.

Captain Carson looked at the fuel gauge. Twenty percent was nowhere near enough to keep the lead "We'll use the bolt-on engines!" She flicked a switch and soon, the distinctive high whine of the afterburning turbojets spooling up was heard. When the engines were at optimal speed, she activated the afterburners filling the cockpit with the distinctive roar of an afterburning jet engine at full throttle and the Aestorican Glider to surge foward.

She activated the defensive bowls just in time to see a fireball explode against one of the bowls.

Kopa, Kovu, Scooby and Panda King all qualified for the finals, as did the four dragons.

The engines caused the Glider to become verry hot in the engine room, and rapidly drain the energy Tiger had put in. Still It was pushing the Team out in front. Now they were up by 4 seconds, now 6 seconds, Now 8. They reached the final peak and began the downward descent towards the finish line.' we're up by 10.6 seconds! fed called up to Captain Carson.

We could barely sumo for a few seconds. you girls ran into Vushu and a few other very tough girls, It happens, Nothing to be ashamed of. You girls can relax now, and enjoy the scenery on the planet, until we leave, which should be soon.

"Hmm." Spike said as he looked at the text more. "It seems to have some sections on battle magic, and potions. A chapter on how prank spells can be used to great effect in combat." He flipped to another part of the book. "Hmm, this chapter is about sumo and sumo magic, and potions. Very neat." He said.

Mr. Bigmouth nodded and handed Spike his tricorder. "Here," he said. "You can use this to record your findings. It can't read Archaic Equestrian Script yet, but if you use it, you'll help it learn."

The Aestorican Glider crossed the finish line with a whopping 12 second lead. She was moving so fast that the glider had actually broken the sound barrier. Captain Carson shut off the engines and activated the airbrakes to slow down the glider.

"We did!" She cheered as she carefully guided the ship to the landing zone.
