"Looks like the air force are arriving." Brooklyn said.

"Let's go." Jason said before joining in the battle. He used his Zeo sword on a changling before it could get to a colt.

"You should go, it's not safe here." Jason said.

"Where, no where is safe." The cold said, half panicked.

"How about that place with all the apple trees?" Jason asked.

Guilmon sent a pyrosphere at another changling.

"Sweet Apple Acres?" The colt asked.

"Yes, go there. I'm sure whoever lives there will let you stay there till this is over." Jason said before the colt ran off in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres, and glad to be away from where this area.

[The Spire of Winter]

"Wait up!" Dr. Zanasiu, Zachary, Applejack and Rarity shouted as they sprinted for the last repulsorsled.

"Come on! Everypony's moved out already!" Twilight shouted as the driver of the sled started up the engine.

As soon as they were aboard, the sled shot out of the vehicle bay.

Captain Carson nodded. "All right, squeeze the handle by your right hoof. That'll cause the skiff to rise up a bit."

She did the same action on her own grounded sled, causing it to rise off the ground.

[Ponyville]

Mr. Bigmouth's jaw dropped as the Changeling swarm appeared. He grabbed a grenade from his messenger bag, pulled the pin and tossed out the window into the nearest mass of Changelings.

Ms. Swimmer was using one hand to attack the swarm while using the other to call for backup.

Sure enough, the radio officer received the radio call. He then dispatched it to the first mate, who authorized additional forces.

In the vehicle bay, soldiers were getting aboard the armed dune buggies and hover tanks.

The living planes were quickly requesting they be fueled up and armed.

(Spire of Winter - Radio Control Room)

Fluttershy looked outside and down the hallway, noticing that something was going on as she looked back inside "Um, something's going on, but I'm not sure what"

Pinkie Pie bounded over and looked out herself before looking at Fluttershy "Come on Fluttershy!" she spoke, grabbing Fluttershy by the tail and bounded off, dragging Fluttershy along with her.

Though Fluttershy seemed to just pout slightly at that and pulled her own tail free from Pinkie Pie's teeth "I can walk Pinkie" she seemed to grumble slightly as she followed the pink pony further into the ship.

(Ponyville)

Queen Chrysalis let off a grin at what was happening as her eyes gazed to Trixie, whom she still had levitated in the air beside herself "Look around you, you see, without the Elements of Harmony here, nor Shinning Armour and Cadence....this little town shall fall, despite the aliens attempts in fighting my Changelings off"

Trixie narrowed her eyes at Chrysalis as she let her horn glow, only to be told off by Chrysalis in doing so.

"Uh uh uh, I don't think that it would be wise to-" Chrysalis was cut off by another table being thrown at her face. Her eyes glanced around to Gilda whom stood on the ground next to a cart full of vegetables "Tables....always with the tables isn't it?" she spoke, glancing to Trixie and launched her to the side as her gaze shifted to Gilda.

"Sorry your highness, but even without Dashie and her friends here, I think we can still handle ourselves just fine" Gilda told Chrysalis as she grabbed a watermellon and lugged it in Chrysalis' direction "Even if Dashie would rather hang out with that Wonderbolt...." she grumbled away, still seeming annoyed at that herself as she grabbed an apple and tossed it at a Changeling.

Trixie crashed into Sugarcube Corner with a groan before pushing herself back up to her feet again, despite being injured once again, she still staggered back outside again and ignoring what injuries she had at the time being.

Riley looked to Mr. Bigmouth "So um....any bright ideas?" she asked as she had to abandon using her rifle "Cause I haven't seen the rest of my team mates right now. I mean, I know that Aimee and Darwin are on the ship, but I don't even know where Jackson is...."

a few minutes later Spyrop and Cynder arrived followed closely by tiger and tiogeresss. spyro saw thew changelings and let forth a seariung blast of fire from his mouth. cynder joined in with a blast of poison.
what are these things? kovu started as he and kiara arrived " don't know.,. don't care, just get rid of them.. ' kiara retorted, taking a swipe aqt as chengeling wth her claws. the armors she was wearuing gave off magical chargew as she she swung..
Ratchet pulled up to the area and pulled out his covernet 350900. he fired and a net made oif kinetic energy appeared and wrapped itsel,f around a nearby changeling zapping it wiyth thousands of volts of electricty..

[Ponyville]

Ms. Swimmer smiled at Chrysalis. "Well, you haven't seen the rest of the alien army!" She then peeked out the window to see Spyro and his forces arriving on repulsorsleds. He could also see the distant figures of the living planes. "And they should be here now!"

Mr. Bigmouth was busy assembling a mounted machine gun from his bag. Once he had done so, he quickly placed it near a window, manned it and hosed down the area around the library with .50 caliber bullets.

Suddenly, the few ponies who had not run away were treated to the roar of jet engines accompanied by a savage industrial rock piece.

"Yeehaw!" Captain Fairchild exclaimed as he launched a volley of incendiary rockets at the some Changelings in the distance, incinerating them - and coating the road and a fruit stand with flaming napalm.

Major Lockie's 20 mm gatling guns spewed out a steady stream of tracer and explosive projectiles as he mowed down the Changelings.

Rainbow decided to land outside Sugarcube Corner. "Hey Dash! Spitfire!" she shouted. "Twilight told us to warn about Changelings invading the town."

She looked behind her, a horde of Changelings rushed her. She smirked. "Eat jet wash!" she shouted as she lit her engines, spooled them up to full throttle and engaged afterburners. The powerful burst of superheated air from her twin engines set the changelings on fire and launched them through the air.

The sled with Joan, Dr. Zanasiu, Zachary, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the soldiers was the last to arrive.

Deimos dashed into a house to set up a sniping perch.

Joan turned to the soldiers. "Protect the civilians!" she ordered. She lifted her magma cannon and fired, sending a hypersonic dart of molten metal screaming towards a Changeling. The molten dart vaporized the Changeling and continued on its path, setting fire to a flower cart as it did so.

The men saluted and headed for the town hall where most of the ponies were located - and where the Changelings were headed.

"Overkill?" Zachary asked the ODIN trooper as he mowed down Changelings with accurate 3 round bursts from his rifle.

Twilight immediately began launching bolts of high energy magic that packed the same destructive punch as Deimos's .50 caliber rounds.

Rarity took to battering the Changelings with stones and gems telekinetically torn from the ground itself.

Applejack bucked a Changeling as she looked at Zachary and his group. "Say whatcha want about them, but there's no denying it; they can fight!"

Rarity flicked a curl of her purple mane aside. "I would expect them to excellent fighters; as if they've done anything else."

Chrysalis' eyes gazed at the alien army that had now shown up and just seemed to watch away as them and her Changelings were now fighting amongst each other. Though, a slight look of concern was seen upon her face, but it was only there momentarily as most ponies were dealing with the Changelings.

Though her gaze shifted to Trixie again, whom seemed to be ignoring the Changelings and instead, was standing her ground and looking at Chrysalis "How many times must I have you killed before you stay dead?" she asked, though somewhat casually "But no matter...." her horn started to glow as she lowered herself down to the ground, standing a few feet in front of Trixie, horn still glowing away.

Trixie just stood her ground still, despite feeling much weaker than before, she still wanted to at least keep Chrysalis busy as her own horn started to glow, while she did her best to remain concentrating on the Changeling Queen.

"Oooh yeah! It's just like the time they invaded Canterlot the other time, but they weren't very good at being other ponies, especially not being me" Pinkie Pie added in to what Rarity had to say, seeming to just "appear" there, as she usually would.

Fluttershy on the other hand, had finally arrived as well, only to stop short of the fighting and gulped a little as she did so "Oh my gosh...." was all she could say.

tiger and tigeress joined in the fray, blasting away with blasts of ice and lightning. stitch tore out a lamppost and used it as a (very) large club. the combined strength of those opposed to the changeling were making minecemeat of them, and soon all that combined powere would be turned against the queen herself
angelsa clasted away with her constrogun. she was a good shot and the gun had hundreds of ammo.
spyro let forth a blast of fury powered from his ring. the purple haze incinerated a changeling and shattered a nearby window.. oops spyro said shrugging.. he had done much worse in the past..

Jason and the others joined the battle, still in their ranger forms.

Gnash took a swing, striking one of the Changelings on the ground. Brooklyn at his side.

Guilmon shot off a Pyrosphere, hitting a flying changling right in the face.

Velma stood close to Gnash and Brooklyn, thinking if the 3 of then stood fighting together things would be better.

Though not needing to speak to do his spells in his dragon form, even though he was currently the same size as his time lord form & in ranger form also. He did see the need for being dramatic at times. So he raised one hand at a group of flying Changelings and said, "Flame of Anor-Ra." He said, the result was a large cone shape of bright fire that shot into the air and rapidly fanned out, engulfing a group of Changelings.

"oo, holy fire." Guilmon said on seeing the fire.

Spike picked up and threw a rock at a changeling, distracting it momentarily.

"So, you do not wish to give up? Very well then, perhaps I can at least....amuse you for the time being" Chrysalis told Trixie as she fired a beam from her horn, just as Trixie fired one of her own, the two beams connecting, yet, Chrysalis did not seem to look as though she was trying at all to hold Trixie's power back.

Trixie on the other hand, was doing her best to push against Chrysalis' power as her horn glew some more and in turn, she summoned smaller rockets to her aid, sending them flying towards the queen herself.

Though, Queen Chrysalis could only smirk lightly as her horn glew again, magically stealing away Mr. Bigmouth's own weapon and in turn, firing a few blasts at the incoming rockets, destroying them in the process "You're weak Trixie....but this is too amusing to stop right now, so I'll tell you what, I'll let you have one more attack on myself, and if you fail to impress me...." she just smirked, leaving the threat just hanging there.

kovy picked up a changeling and threat it through a window.. inwardly he was having fun..

I just got a message from Captain Qwark Clank reported from Ratchets back. hold it until we're done with these guys. the wizard chap has a meeting with the local princess, and then we're off to the next planet" ratchet replied "
angelas quite a fighter isn't she? he added " yes she is, considering her long captivity, she is recovering nicely., and it is good for you to meet another Lombax. the only one you have ever met was Azimuth.. and well that.. " didn't end so well, do not remind me.. he muttered as he fired more covernet shots..
Tiger froze a changeling with a blizzard blast and cynder blasted it apart with a large gust of wind..

A colt looked at the armored soldier. He shivered as he laid eyes on the imposing figure. "What are you?" he asked.

"Allies," he said, blasting a changeling from the sky with his shotgun.

Mr. Bigmouth reached inside his sack and pressed the self destruct button for the stolen machine gun.

He then got to work assembling another heavy machine gun.

Dash sprinted out of Sugarcube Corner with Spitfire and the Cakes in tow!

"Send the civilians to the town hall!" Rainbow ordered. As the living F-22 spoke, more changelings started swarming the street.

She lit her engines and throttled them to full afterburners, incinerating the changelings that foolishly decided to rush her.

Twilight teleported next to Trixie. "Trixie! There you are! I was looking all over for you!"

A bolt of molten metal passed overhead as Joan shot down another changeling.

Trixie was still holding off the beam that was connected with Chrysalis' one before she managed to actually divert the beam away, shooting it off....though into a nearby building, but one that wasn't currently occupied as Trixie let off a bit of a gasp. She was feeling weaker still, especially from having her power drained earlier on by Chrysalis herself.

Her eyes gazed at Twilight and smiled to her "Sorry....Trixie....she was....wanting to hold off the attack of....her...." she spoke, motioning towards Chrysalis.

Chrysalis' eyes gazed upon Twilight "Well well, what have we here? Seems as though that you finally decided to show up....Twilight Sparkle, too bad that I'm not going to allow you to ruin my day a second time"

"We have to stop her....somehow...." Trixie muttered a little as she looked at Twilight "Does Twilight have any ideas on what we can do?"

Spitfire looked around, a small look of concern upon her face before she looked to Dash again "Since my team isn't here right now, you want to have some fun in taking on these creatures?" she asked the rainbow pegasus.

stitch shattered the lampost over a changelings head disintegrating it. angel used her ring to pound anoyther changeling into the side of the building repeatedly. Tigeress hit a trio of changelings with green fire, then tiger froze them solid with a blast of blizzard. anyone got a plan how to finish these giuys off! hew shouted

"Our mission's clear." Jason said as his team of rangers made it near the Town hall, to try to help guard any civilians who were in the area. He used his Zeo saber to attack a changeling, Guilmon hit one in the side next to it with a pyrosphere.

Gnash, Brooklyn, and Velma battled side by side next to where Jason and Guilmon were. Brooklyn using his claws, Gnash his sword and Velma the pistol her sword could be turned into.

Twilight fired a concussive blast of energy that threw several changelings into buildings. "The power of love stopped her last time."

"Aww, can we just blow her up?" Captain Fairchild asked as he launched another volley of incendiary rockets towards a changeling swarm, not caring that he set fire to a building in the process.

Rainbow frowned. "You know that I am much larger than you, right? I mean, I'm almost as tall as this building if you count my tailfin.

Chrysalis just let off a light laugh at Twilight's confidence "But you forget one thing Twilight, Cadence and Shining Armour were the ones that managed to activate it last time....and without them....your hope is lost" she smirked.

Trixie glanced at Chrysalis and then to Twilight, looking at her for a moment or so as she got a small idea, hopefully the same idea that Twilight had "This....better work...." Trixie spoke as she lowered her head slightly, allowing for her horn to touch Twilight's horn.

Chrysalis narrowed her eyes at Trixie as her horn started to glow, wanting to stop the two unicorns before anything were to happen.

Spitfire just gave off a light smile back to Dash, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek "Come on then, let's do this" she spoke as she took off first and straight away, started to attack some of the Changelings....only to be pelted by a tomato right in the face. Her eyes gazed around and saw Gilda on the ground, still by the cart of vegetables.

"What?" Gilda asked as she grabbed an apple and threw it at a nearby Changeling before grabbing a second apple.....and throwing it at Spitfire....more in annoyance with her than anything else.

Joan had run out of ammunition for her magma cannon, placing it on the repulsorsled. She then pulled out a black handle from the waist of her armor and pressed a button. A four foot glowing blade of intense blue-light extended from the handle.

She smiled; the technicians had managed to repair the lightsaber in time.

A changeling telekinetically sent a fruit cart at her. With two quick swings, the fruit cart lay in pieces beside her.

She then waded into the fray with Ms. Swimmer and her dual sticks. Mr. Bigmouth was providing support with heavy machine gun fire from the library.

Ms. Swimmer parried a changeling's attack with her sticks and killed it with a blow to the head.

Joan sliced a changeling in half. "How the f--- are we going to explain this s--- to Princess Celestia? I mean, look! Part of the town's on fire and carcasses of these things are everywhere!"

As Twilight's horn touched Trixie's own, she placed her muzzle on Trixie's own and kissed her. The magenta glow around her horn flared even brighter.

Rainbow lit her engines. As she screamed down the road at full afterburners, the changelings behind her were incinerated by the hot jet wash. Those in front fared just as poorly; they were sucked into her engines and shredded or run over. Unfortunately, she blew over carriages, debris and pretty much anything not tied down.

Rainbow Dash flew alongside the living F-22. "You know," she said. "You'd make a great Wonderbolt."

"Sorry," Rainbow replied as she looked behind her and saw a horde of changelings taking flight behind her.

Trixie looked at Twilight and returned the kiss back to her, allowing the the flare to burn even brighter still until a pulse was sent out, pushing the Changelings away, out of Ponyville.

"Being defeated again, by the power of love? It's not possible!" Chrysalis called out as she too was pushed out of Ponyville and off into the distance, ending with a twinkle in the sky.

Trixie just looked at Twilight again "How did Twilight know that it would work? Did she even know it would in the first place?" she asked her, a bit curiously.

Even though the fight was finished, Gilda still grabbed onto another piece of fruit and lunged it at Spitfire, hitting her square in the face, eyes narrowed upon the Wonderbolt all the while.

Spitfire sighed just a little bit, glancing at Rainbow Dash for a moment, then back down to Gilda as she ducked from another piece of thrown fruit "What's her problem?" she asked Dash.

well thats one heck of a way to finish a fight kovu said as he got up fropm the ground. cynder spro and the twpo wolves went over to start tamping down the fires as best they could.. still the town was coked with debris and the mangled remains of the changelinmds
nice work guys stitch beamed as he tossed the broken half of the lamnpost away ' just bill the boss! he smirked to the ponies hes got lots of money ha ha..

"I wonder how we are going to put the fires out. Maybe the unicorns can do a spell, or the Pegasus can make it rain, or something." Spike said looking around at what the town looked like after the battle was over.

Jason and the tohers contniued to battle the changelings till the battle was over.

"That was over faster then I thought." Gnash said.

"Battles can do that." Brooklyn said.

"Guess we should help to clean this place up." Velma said.

"Battles are often messy as well." Brooklyn said.

"They always are." Jason said. "in various ways perhaps."

They then started to go around to some nearby buildings and places to start helping with the damage control and cleaning up.

"First stopping the fires, clean up. Then rebuilding and repair of the buildings can start." Jason said, "All in it's proper time."
