Captain Carson was about to give the order to lift off. The computer had already calculated the optimum route to Clockwerk based on the coordinates Stripetail had transmitted to her. As everyone was asleep, the lift off would much slower to avoid awakening people.

She got up from the console and opened the door to find Sneed. "Is there a problem?"

"Nick, I've got to get some sleep," Dr. Kerzach said as he finished mopping the floor.

"Seems there is a distress signal." Jason said to the few others in the control room.

"Can you pinpoint it?" Velma asked stepping closer to the console.

"Already have. Seems to be that world there." Jason said, turning on the holographic display. It showed the multiple systems with a tiny do flashing then zeroed in on the system then the world, showing a spot on the planet.

Captain Carson nodded put the speaker on the radio. She picked up the microphone. "This is Captain Carson of the RICMS Spire of Winter. Over."

The nightshift had taken over the tavern and Dr. Kerzach headed into the Winterville Hotel to sleep.

The hotel lobby was clean, if bland.

"Acknowledged. By coincidence, our ship is en route to Clockwerk. We will discuss further details upon arrival. Captain Carson out." She put the handset back in its holder.

"Well, s---," she said, rubbing her temples. "I'd better get Stripetail's attention."

She then used the intercom that was connected to Stripetail's room. "Stripetail, this is Captain Carson. I have recieved a distress signal from Clockwerk. Someone named 'Bentley Turtle' is requesting evacuation from the planet, citing an oppressive regime."

"Roger that Commander," Captain Carson said with a yawn. She entered the planet's coordinates and set the ship's AI to make the jump. According to the instruments, they were out of the Skyland's atmosphere but still too close to its gravitational pull to jump.

She then headed her room, locked the door and headed to the bathroom to wash up.

Several minutes later, she was informed via the viewscreen on the wall that the jump had been initated. The woman slid under the covers and soon fell asleep.

tigress stirrred and moved over nextto dixie. who stirred.' cant sleep' dixie saidto her as she settled in next to her.' yeah, i just couldnt get comfortable . i asked stripetail to bring flash with us..' tigress! this is very dangerous quest we are on1 bringing a small kid into it..' Lilos with us Dixie' tigeress pointed out ' and her sister nanis keeping an eye out. 'besides stripetail agreed. ' and you are probably going to ask me to watch her..' well were going to bring her with us' tigeress said as she nuzzleed dixie.' boss gave the ok then..dixie said, with a sigh. ' hopeful we'll see her soon.

As the "day" aboard the great starship passed, the vessel quickly surged through hyperspace as it made its way to Clockwerk.

As it was "late at night", the town of Winterville was mostly silent. Save for a few individuals deciding to clear their heads with a "late night" walk.

ratchet , clank and angela were asleep ion their room. cynder-W, snuggled next to cynder-S, as they tried to get some sleep. Skylands was excited abiout travelling outside of Skylands for the first time., and exploring the wider universe outside her home. she had 'her ' spyro, and the older spyro to talk to, as well as her counterpart, which cynder had to admit she was beginning to like quite a bit.
- kovu soon went to sleep without answering kiaras question, he was too tired to respond.
- stripetail finally went to sleep himself.
