Captain Carson nodded. "All right, Nick, Kerzach. You both are in the reserves. If they call for backup, you'll be on the next shuttle down. Is that clear?"

"Crystal," Dr. Kerzach replied.

"All right then. Move out!"

The Pelvanida group hustled out of the tavern and hailed an electric taxi to take them to the armory.

As they left, Captain Carson turned to Nani, Stitch, Lilo, Shaggy and the others. "Everyone else, I need volunteers in case they call for backup as assisting in communications and logistics."

"The tardis has scanned the time-line and has picked the best time for us to appear. You sure you are comfortable with your equipment?" Jason said looking at the others, "We'll be in the fringes, some may not knew we were even there since others will take the credit." Jason said.

"Some from various smiths I had make for past missions. Or some I made myself, or one of my fragments made." Jason said. "We're close to transmitting out, everyone get ready. He said.

The Pelvanida Group was armed and ready as they waited in the vehicle bay for the signal to board the shuttles. The living planes were strapped onto large platforms that were designed to accomodate their landing gear. A shield generator protected them from the heat of reentry.

Captain Carson got the results from the probes back. The planet was perfectly safe ó no space suits or other breathing gear was necessary.

"Okay. Everyone get ready to make sure things are okay. I'm giving the order to launch now!" She pressed a button on the console.

"That's the signal! Go! Go! Go!" Deimos shouted as a deep bell-like sound reverborated in the vehicle bay. Every one of the crew hustled to whatever shuttle was available. The living planes' space platforms lifted slightly off the ground and passed through the open blast doors into space. The planet of Clockwerk stood out against the inky black of space.

The vessels glowed white hot as plunged through the planet's atmosphere. As they descended, their repulsorlifts and airbrakes activated and began to slow the vessel down.

"Okay, we're near theóthe f--- was that!?" An arrow pinged off the vehicle's bulletproof windshield.

The pilot scanned for the source of the fire and saw several Crane Archers firing at them.

He also recieved reports from the other shuttles taking fire. He hastily rang up Captain Carson. "Captain Carson! We are taking fire!"

"You have permission to engage! Captain Carson out."

The pilot turned to the gunner/copilot and nodded. The Vixen opened up with the shuttle's 30 mm autocannon, routing the archers and pulverizing the ramparts.

Just when they thougt everything was over, a massive explosion rocked the vessel. "S---! We lost our engines! Hang on!" the pilot shouted. He then radioed Spire of Winter. "Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! Spire of Winter, this is Lander One! We have lost our engines to hostile fire!"

Outside, rockets streaked into the sky as Japanese Macaque rocketeers took aim and attacked the landing shuttles. While the rockets were unguided and the shuttles moving fairly quickly, the sheer number of rockets launched all but ensured a hit. And with the large explosive payload, a single hit was easily capable of destroying the shuttles' armored engines

the shuttle scooby and the others were oone crashlanded hard into the side of a hill.' agumon blasted the door open with a fire blast, and one by one the occupants climbed out. kovus mane matted from blood from a cut on the side of his face, kopa had a cuts on her front paws and on his forehead ' we've landed at least ' Dixie said upon getting out. streaks of fire lit up the sky, from the battle raging above them..
- Dulcy and Samia weaved through the streaming rockets as they made their way towards the planets surface..

- Chong was watching the 'show' with glee ' Ah Sweet, richly deserved revenge! Pity the shuttles arent blowing up on impact.. lets see you pick your way out of this one wizard! He cackled..
Clockwerk looked at him. "i do not wish to become entangled in a spat between you and this wizard. i have my own business to attend to. my Macaques abd Crane will deal with them..

Nick spat out blood as he stumbled out of the shuttle ' Kerach! you ok? he coughed. he had a large bump on the land, and possibly a concussion.

Dr. Kerzach nodded. He drew his enchanted switchblade. "Well, we're going to have someógas!" he yelled as he saw gouts of yellow smoke being sprayed by several Mice wearing gas masks and hazmat suits.

"Just great!" Dr. Zanasiu shouted.

"Get into the shuttle and put the space suits on!" Mr. Bigmouth shouted as he shot at the gas troopers.

Ms. Swimmer slammed her staff into the ground, raising a crackling lightning sphere around her that vaporized the arrows heading their way. "We must retreat!"

The Spire of Winter's point-defense lasers easily shot down the missiles but with the sheer amount of them, they would eventually get through. To make matters worse, these missiles carried a much larger payload than the ones that downed the shuttles.

the ship shook from the impacts from the missiles, but Stripetail kept his calm ' " captain' Try and land the ship as best you can' He said. we will need time for repairs,restock supplies, and tend to injuries..'
- Nick dove inside the shuttle and fumbled for His spacesuit.
Tiger And Tigeress Activated thier armor as Did Spyro And Cynder.
Ratchet managed to land Aphelion safely, avoiding the missiles.

Sara did a spell to protect her from vacuum and the atmosphere then she flew towards the planet. Seeing the rockets she then did a spell so she'd be undetectable, which would give her time to survey the area and get more information.

Seeing that he was ignored Gron used had the symbiote extract part of itself to form a thin tentacle. Then using it to peer over Bently's shoulder to see where the crash happened slipped out to head off in that general direction, continuing to change his appearance here and there so he couldn't be trailed.

Ms. Swimmer, Deimos and Mr. Bigmouth simply put on their air purifying gems. Ms.
Swimmer raised a wall of lightning that kept Deimos and Mr. Bigmouth safe.

Deimos reloaded his .50 caliber rifle as Mr. Bigmouth gave him covering fire with the .50 caliber machine gun he had pulled out of his messenger bag.

"Incoming!" Dr. Zanasiu yelled as a rocket arced towards them. By now, the battlefield was wreathed in toxic yellow gas clouds. A lightning bolt from Ms. Swimmer vaporized the projectile.

The living planes were hammering the enemy troops with rockets, bombs and autocannon fire but they never let up.

"What kind of arrows are these?" Captain Fairchild asked as he launched a volley of fragmentation rockets towards an approaching platoon of archers. Several arrows were actually lodged in his airframe. Not deep enough to reach his vital systems but they still managed to pierce his armor.

"Understood!" Captain Carson replied. The ship shook as a missile made it through.

"Warning! Main radiator damaged!" the AI said.

"F---! And that's one of the most important parts!" Captain Carson activated the ship's ion drives to push it out of geosynchronous orbit so they could safely land.

Dixie Scooby and the Two Digimon started fighting back against the attackers, using the magic of their rings to parry or sdestroy arrows,.. the armor protected them from the gas which was fortunate..' Lets get moving guys' Kopa said to the others, the asrmor covering his form. he found he could breathe while wearing it even through the gas was completely surrounfding them..

- Tiger and Tigeress headed towards a shuttle, ready to go join the others...

Sara started casting spells to deflect some of the arrows. Then a spell to cause a burst of extreme heat, aiming those at some of the archers when she could.

Invisibly a morphed velma used a bow that shot a special crystal type arrow that was a crystal arrow that was very hard to see since it had the same refraction as air. The arrow would fly forward and once it hit a solid target would explode into very thin needle like shards that flew apart above the speed of sound, causing a sonic boom at the spot where the arrow exploded.

Brooklyn flew wielding a special crafted sword, who's blade had fire around it. As he attacked the attackers the blade would cut physical things like a normal sword would, the fire would cause burn damage to the person's very soul.

Smia And Dulcy starting using fire breath to help Sara fight off the attacks from Clockwerks forces.
The team near the shuttle was soon being pressed back from the mice shooting poison gas at them ' How long can these suits hold out?' kopa said as as he let forth a magical roar with knocked a few mice back " about two hours' Dixie said ' the suits recycle the air you breathe and purify it, its saved our lives on a number of occasions."
Good to know Kovu said as he ducked a fsh volley. the shuttle jad arrows sticking out of it like a pin cushion.
the Spire of Winter now entered the atmosphere at an angle..
