"We're on it!" Captain Fairchild's voice rang clear through the radio network that Scooby and his team were linked into.

The living A-10 flew straight through a massive fireball that detonated and showered him with smaller projectiles. His armor took the worst of the attacks, leaving visibly melted spots on his body.

As he saw Tyrell preparing to cast another spell, he spooled up his 30 mm cannon and unleashed a hail of armor-piercing shells towards him.

The shells smashed through the barrier and ripped into him. He hadn't been downed by the attack thanks to both the Dijinn Shell and his armor but he was weakened and dazed by the attack.

He pushed himself to his feet only to hear a loud voice ordering him to surrender. He defiantly tried to throw a fireball but a psy grenade (taken off a monster the group had killed) detonated at his feet, sapping his mana.

Soon, he was facing two dune buggies training their machine guns on him along with Mr. Bigmouth aiming some type of launcher at him. The two drivers also drew their pistols and leveled them at the mage.

He swore as he figured out a way out of this situation.

Sveta stopped attacking the shield. She growled as she stepped back. "Here to destroy Tonfon and finish what your friend started?"

One of the armored men stood ready to defend Stripetail. When he raised his rifle, she snarled at him but couldn't read his emotions behind the armored faceplate of his helmet.

This is the first time I have ever set foot here, and i would never willingly harm the innocent. so whatever wizard attacked you earlier, Rest assured he is no friend of mine.' Stripetail said . He motioned to the guard to lower his weapon " i can handle this " stripetail said firmly. Tell me madam, what was the name of the wizard who attacked you?

scooby sped up his racer the heat from the onrush of magic penetrated his armor and was causing him to sweat profusely.
"Whatever you do, dont stop this thing' Vitani shouted, looking back at the upbursts of lava.

The guard complied, lowering his weapon.

Sveta laid her ears back and bared her teeth. Stripetail's words had angered her further. "I refuse to believe that you're not with that bastard Chong!" Sveta snarled between punches. Her voice had a distinct Slavic accent but it was clearly understandable.

"So they have summons too..." Tyrell looked around at the armed troops surrounding him. He opted to try and use one of his own summons. He stood up and raised his hand skyward.

The group surrounding him collectively scratched their heads in puzzlement.

Tyrell smirked as he realized they were oblivious to the fact that he had just Summoned Meteor.

That was broken when Captain Fairchild's voice rang out. "Everyone! I spotted a brilliant flash of magic radiation from the prisoner! He has probably cast a spell!"

Over a hundred rounds of gunfire ripped into Tyrell, throwing him backwards.

Mr. Bigmouth put his launcher away and carefully approached Tyrell's body. Ms. Swimmer covered him. He gently prodded the Adept with the muzzle of his rifle. To his surprise, Tyrell was still alive but completely unconscious...and severely injured.

He dug through the man's pack and found a elegant glass vial. He noticed some runic writing on it but with the help of his tricorder, discovered that it was Water of Life. Shrugging, he poured it all over Tyrell who immediately leapt to his feet, all his injuries gone.

"You...What have you done with Karis and Amiti?"

When he got no replies, he made to draw his sword. "Answer me! Or you'll regret it!"

Mr. Bigmouth cleared his throat. "Threats will get you nowhere. I assure you that I have never heard of Karis or Amiti until we arrived on this planet, let alone done anything with or to them."

"Liar! You attacked them in a tavern outside Tonfon!" Tyrell snapped.

"Sit down and shut up or we'll tear you apart like before!" a soldier shouted from the machine gun turret.

Mr. Bigmouth signaled for the soldier to be quiet with a scowl. He then turned to Tyrell. "You'll have to excuse him. He's understandably upset that you attacked us without provocation."

Tyrell scowled but said nothing. Something told him that this mysterious silver-clad stranger was telling the truth.

"I cannot tell you everything but I can take you to my leaders." He radioed Stripetail.

Karis and Amiti had been revived thanks to them possessing the Water of Life. They had been stripped of their weapons and armor and were confined to a magically shielded prison at Chong's command.

He IS a bastard. i know this from personal experience. he and i have been at cross purposes for a long time now,. If you think I would aid that psychopath , in any way, you truly dont know me at all.' Stripetaiol sent out a flurry that knocked Sveta back into a tree. Stripetail stepped forward, thev intense magic of the planet reacting to Stripetail's already immense power. the shield around him became blindly bright.: I have but one question: Where. Is. Chong? Stripetail asked.

Sveta slumped against the tree. "He burnt down a tavern at the outskirts of town. My group tried to recover the equipment he had stolen from the Belinsk Museum. He arrived in a large flying metal ship. He headed northwest to the mountain range."

She raised a shaky hand and pointed to the aforementioned mountain range. The one with what looked like a star burning atop it.

Stripetail's radio buzzed with a message from Mr. Bigmouth. "Stripetail, this is Mr. Bigmouth. We have apprehended the other mage. Bigmouth out."

a stream flowed on ahead of them, although this stream glowed purple- likely from the magic under it.. the lava hissed and coled as it made contract with the water.. ahead of them a large town appeared in the distance, its very buildings radiating with magic.

Sveta would have refused the offered hand but she was too weak to do so. She reluctantly took the offered hand. "I'm Sveta."

As she got up, it was then she laid eyes on Stripetail. "You're a Beastman as well?" she asked.

Soon, Mr. Bigmouth's group arrived. Tyrell was sitting on the electric truck while Mr. Bigmouth stood over him with a rifle.

He then turned to Tyrell. "I see. Well, it looks like we got off to a bad start. But since my leader has agreed to let this blow over, I'm fine with it."

Tyrell rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I'm a Mars Adept and we're kind of known for being hot-tempered."

Luca and arlene split up and took their wards to different stores. Arlene taking the Olivers and Luca, Flash and Mona. Arlene found a cute Scarecrow costume for other Oliver to wear, While Oliver looked for new Catman toys and games.
Mona dragged her mom over to the Doll House section of the store they were in. this would be perfect for my toys " she beamed." Ok dear. Now lets see what flash wants' Luca said. " Flash came up, carrying a quartet of dolls with frizy rainbow colored hair' These things are called trolls '; Flash Said. then grinned as she saw the dollhouse in the cart' Awesome.. all we need is a cave set up for my trolls then they can invade your house Mona She grinned " Invasion of the Hairy Trolls! OoO! I like it! Mona clapped her paws " quite the pair of tomboys you are' Luca smiled.' whats a tomboy? i'm not a boy" flash said " no honey. its when girls do stuff you normally see from boys.. like you planning to mess up her dollhouse with an attack by those hideous trolls ' Luca laughed,." good there is a cave set over there." She took the set and put it into the cart. " Just remember you two. when its bed time the toys and sets have to be put away ' Yes Miss Luca " Flash said. ' Yes Mom.." Mona said. but what if Flash and I are having a slumber party?' well.. if you girls are planning that.. then you will have to be quiet when you play . Us adults need some sleep."

Oliver and Other Oliver came back towards the adults with various toys they had picked out from the stores. "Here's everything mom," Oliver meowed cutely, placing everything in the cart.

"Master Sneed has other food to eat," Other Oliver noted, "So he doesn't need me to be a snack every day." Indeed, the big bear was enjoying the ship's various buffets.

"So, tell me exactly where Carmelita and Sly are," Bentley said to Dimitri, wanting to test just to what degree his senses had been enhanced.

the kids toys filled both carts to the brim. 'well, it is a shopping spree' Arlene said to Luca as they went tio checkout. the combined toys and sets ended being 750 dollars, to both girls surprise,Dixie had given them each several thousand dollars to spend.' why dont we go put the kids toys away in thier rooms, before taking them to see Catman" arlene suggested.." great idea.. i also need time to make a chore list for the girls.. Need to keep the side of the room clean..Dion't want to be stepping all over these toys.. Ah well I cant get a toy bin later " Luca said " well Oliver is pretty neat from my experience living with the Dioos Robbi the robot doesnt even bother cleaning the room, it keeps it so clean.' This Place really revs up your power" he said, as the others took off their helmets and asdjusted to the magic of the planet.it feels like a sugar rush ' agumina said." Tiger spat forth a blizzard blast and covered the entire path in ront of them with ice and snow ' Remind me not to tick you off while we are here ' Tigress smirked. She Contacted Stripetail " Hey Stripetail we've taken off our helmets.. and well we're far more powerful on this planet than normal. Seems like it simply takes our regular powers and kicks them up several notches. Agumon burned down a tree and Tiger nearly turned this area into the North Pole. " Just.. be careful with your new powers' Those of you with natural powers can take off your helmets. but those of you without, must keep them on. so.. roughly half the group.

Spyro, Cynder Stitch and angel took off their helmets and felt their powers grow in reaction to the natural magic around them.. Gabuma And Gabumon tried out their powers and froze trees in blue and purple frost this is amazing ' Gabuna saId " Wait Until You get used to it ' Gabumon said "Pity We cant take ours Off " Angela said " I dont think nanotech works here ' And i do not want to damage my circuits ' Clank said ' i am detecting a large town about 20 miles to the north. perhaps they will have more information for us.' maybe they have rooms for no magical folks " Ratchet said.

Flash And Mona ran ahead of the Cart Luca was Pushing " both enjoying the new toys and the fact they were going to see a movie- it was the first time Mona would get to see one. the bond the two girls shared was now that of best friends, and Mona looked forward to defending her ' Castle" from the invaders. Luca had agreed to let the girls stay up to play as long as they were not too loud..

Tyrell and Mr. Bigmouth shook hands. It was then Tyrell noticed Mr. Bigmouth's tail. "Hmm. Another Beastman? I've never seen them arriving from beyond Weyard before." His stomach rumbled. "Ah, why don't you we head to a Tonfon teahouse and we can get to know each other better.

The Human members of the crew had their mirrored face plates active so they appeared to be faceless robots.

Captain Carson, her anti-radiation suit silver and bulky like those belonging to the others but with the captain's bars and insignia on the helmet stepped forward.

Sveta and Tyrell stared at the faceless silver armored humanoid. Since all the Human crew members had their anti-radiation suits on and had the mirrored face plates down, they looked downright robotic.

"So, Stripetail, is it? I see you have brought golems with you," Sveta said as she looked at the Human crew. There were a few anthro-crew but their bulky anti-radiation suits concealed their figures. It was only with extremely large crew members like the dinosaurs that custom suits had to be made.

You Girls have a great imagination Luca sais with a smile ashe watched the kids play. Arlene came in and sat down to keep an eye on her son.

Captain Carson radioed Stripetail. "Stripetail, my crew will be wheeling in a portable shield generator to try and lower the magic to a safe level so we can meet at the tea house as Sveta proposed."
