Walker and Chaka stood ready, not sure what to do,but remaining ready in case the stranger proved dangerous and or hostile to them.

Kyo remained behind Qa'Meret ad he whispered to him.- "There is something very scary about that person there, his presence is not a nice one." - he said before giving some steps back and then he walked towards Dru Essa, following her to the Palace.

Qa'Meret looked at the boy, he then looked again to the figure. - "I will carry this orb in your name... only because I don't want you to say we are rude." - The Khajiit knelt and grabbed the orb, storing it in his backpack. - "If now you will excuse us all, we have our own business to attend." - he said before going towards the palace.

Kyo slowed down his pace after hearing Journey's comment. - "I-I didn't realize mister Qa'Meret took that orb... that strange person left that orb saying there is someone very dangerous in our group, but his presence scares me so I went away." - the kid then sighed as he got his dragon down in the floor. - "I hope that orb will not mean bad news for us."

Qa'Meret reached Journey and Kyo in some moments. - "If I keep a positive mind, then there is no reason to fear about this strange-looking orb. But I plan to let our group's mages to take a closer look after we recover our friends."

Qa'Meret looked back at Journey. - "On my journeys, I have heard about that group. As for this orb, I am just carrying it around until after we recover our friends, so the mages in our group can figure out what is it." - he then looked at him addressing to the rest of the group then talking to Dru Essa. He finally looked at Kyo. - "Well, it seems you've made a new friend, I can see he looks more calm when he talks to you."

Kyo smiled. - "It always feels great to make new friends, that is why I have really started to feel comfortable with this group. But there are two of us we need the Count to return to us." - he said that last part very seriously, but he relaxed for a moment after Qa'meret placed his hand on the kid's shoulder.

"I do hope nothing has happened to them, but I don't trust those 2, the Count and Countess. There is something sinister, evil about them." Chaka said.

But since he hasnt tried to kill us and claim the bounty, then we ca only count that as a good thing 'Nicula replied. ' we have to be careful who we trust Dru, in the interest of self preservation. at this point, we cant afford to be trusting and naive, that will get us killed. the more allies, we have, the better.' she turned to Journey ' what services can you offer us, master Journey? the Orc provides muscle, ashnii and dar maa here are potion makers and mages, what can you bring in our party, that we currently lack?

Kyo saw how Qa'Meret walked towards Chaka and Walker, he then heard at Journey, so he looked up at him, the size differnce been obviously noticeable. - "We came to this town as part of our journey... ehh..." - he couldn't avoid grinning at his comment to Journey. - "... but the Count and his wife called us to help them recover a fort for the city, but they suddenly took two of our friends prisoners, to force us fight in the Count's name. So the group departed to fight, except for Dru Essa, Feli and myself." - he told Journey, hoping that explanation would helop him understand the bad situation.

" but if they refuse- and they have already mistreated us by imprisoning our friends so skepticism on our part is warranted- then we will have to resort to other measures. we have performed those kind of rescues before, in sorra where my daughter and ashnii were captured by imperials. as for the gold, well i'm guessing that will fall on dae, as he's the gold fiend of the group, i've never seen such a coin pincher like him. plus him being imprisoned will really tick him off..' journey, the count and countess will not let my friends go unless we convince them to. we leave, they could very well die. i get the sense that the countess is very opposed to KHajits, judging by the way she grabbed them and put them in prison.' Dru esa said firmly. ' we will not kill the Count or countess, al we want is the money he promised us for doing the job he asked us, as well as our friends back..

"If they don't free out friends we'll spell much blood." Walker said, as he checked his weapons visually, including his primary chakram. "Be it by weapon or by hand." He said.

"I'm sure you'll not be the only one, and some of us have other then weapons to use, spells & claws." Chaka said, "Though I do hope it won't come to that." She said as she remained as relaxed as she could, seeing no need to physically get worked up, not yet anyway. Best to be relaxed, but ready, till events showed what one needed doing, she thought to herself as she inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly to relax herself.

"Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst." Walker said as he walked with the others, prepared to fight, even if he had to only using his hands, but hoping it would not come to that.

Kyo looked at Journey and then to Qa'Meret - "Qa'Meret, I know you would ask me to stay here in case things get not nice in there, so I'll remain here with Journey until things get solved." - he then looked at the group. - "Good luck people." - he said with a smile as he turned around, getting a serious face now, and swiftly ran to remain near the new member of the group.

Suddenly, as if by some unknown cue, the entire group, save for the newcomer, was forced into a warped, pitch-black space, the hooded figure appearing before them again.
"So, you still haven't destroyed the monster among you, nor has he confessed...then you simply must see the truth."
It hissed, the darkness fading to reveal Ashnii being raped...by none other than Eric himself...
