From the road that comes from the south, heading to the city of Sorra, there are two figures walking: a big figure that is a Cathay Khajiit, who is carrying a big backpack and is playing a lira as he walks, practicing for when he arrives to the city. The other figure is a much smaller child-sized figure who is using a large hood to cover his face and entire body, this boy is silently going alongside the Khajiit, looking mostly to the ground but not distracted at all.
"Here we are little one..." - the Khajiit said as he stopped playing his lira and looked at a gate with a smile. - "... this is our new destination, but for a couple of days only." - But he sighed since he saw no excitement from the kid. - "I guess we should eat something and have some rest." - he walked forward and made sure both of them were granted access to the city.
After a little while they found a decent place to eat, they went in and sat in a table.
"what can I offer the mister and his son?" - A female Khajiit waitress asked the newcomers, smiling to see in the male adult a familiar face.
"My name is Qa'Meret, pretty lady, and I would love if you could bring me the cheapest special of the house and a big glass of fresh water..." - The Khajiit said with an elegant smile. - "... and for the young one here, a plate of salads and another glass of fresh water will do just fine." - But he saw the petition for the kid was a strange one, but before the waitress could say a word, Qa'Meret added. - "... that's fine, indulge me." - He looked at her with a calm face and smile. She nodded as he blushed a bit and went away for the order.
"Are you sure you have money to stay in the city?" - the kid spoke with a soft voice.
the Khajiit replied. "Of course, I would not let you to sleep in the wilderness... again." - and he laughed for a while as he saw the kid was looking at him. - "Don't worry about anything, I have everything under control."
"where I live there are places where you can look and buy maps, maybe we can go to that place in this city." - The kid suggested as he was now staring at the things over the table.
"That is what I was also thinking, we will go there after eating." - Qa'Meret said as he saw the waitress arriving with the food.
As the newcomers began to eat, the waitress walked back to the kitchen and as she looked to the newcomers, she noticed the kid's white furred hands. - "an Albino" - she said to herself - "no wonder he is using that hood and cape." - she kept on walking, waiting for the next order.
After a while, the newcomers finished their meal and Qa'Meret payed without problems, but not without one last question to the waitress "Excuse me pretty lady" - Qa'Meret inquired - "can you tell me where I can find a good bookshop around here?" - and he got instructions to find a bookshop owned by someone called Sur.
Finally, Qa'Meret came out if the small inn and found his companion who was waiting outside and headed to the bookshop.
