"Not a lot to tell that I can think of. I like to read and study magic, among other things like alchemy. Though I do try to be balanced a bit as well, learning to properly wear heavy armor and use weapons as well as light armor. Though I do find I prefer heavy armor since it is more protective. Not sure what else to talk about." Chaka said, not sure what else to say about herself as she had said. She looked around as they walked along, attempting to remain alert.

Soon the group found themselves on a hill overlooking the path the Imperials were taking, it was only 4 miles from the outpost, yet it seemed like the ideal area for an ambush. But it would be at least a minute before they arrived at this point.

Darr maa remembered that she had magical abilities, she focused on trying to burn through her ropes,it was hard because the ropes wre cutting off her circulation so magic couldnt get there easily..

"Aye, seems like the perfect time too." John said as hid behind a tree. Reynard proceeded to take cover in a bush. It was then that the Imperials could be heard approaching. Then they appeared from the east and it was obvious that Daar Maa and Ashnii were tied up in the wagon.

John whispered an ancient prayer as the Imperials approached.

"Now, we head towards the battlefield. Believe, and our blades will not break. Believe, and our hearts will not bend. Though the roads we take may be different, our iron hearts will beat as one. Swear, that even if the earth is torn asunder, we will live and return here once again."

Then he moved, silently approaching the group from their blind spot. When he was directly behind the first guard. John raised his sword...and struck the killing blow.

Nicula chargesd in towards the wagon scaring the horse into throwing off its rider, his sword went flying into the grass Nicula rabn over and picked it up and faced off againmst a guard who had scurried off the wagon..
- Darr maa managed to get siome magic going and began to burn away the ropes binding her wrists. with a grunt they finally snapped , she untied the gag over her mouth and and took in a deep breath ' Hold on Ashnii! Shecalled out.

Darman had already been waiting for the group, when they commenced their own attack he joined in, firing his crossbow and taking out two guards, taking aim and killing more from where he was hidden.

John bashed another guard on the head with the butt of his sword then evaded a horizontal slash by a centurion and proceeded to run him through.

"Ambush!" Crito yelled in alarm as he caught sight of John, who had a shocked expression on his face.

"You?"

Crito smirked. "Yes boy, me. That face looks familiar, oh that's right. Raine had that same look when I ripped her insides to shreds."

John's eyes narrowed.

"Just stabbed her in the back? I always figured you were a coward." He said and spit in Crito's face.

"Mind your words boy. Because for that, you will die." he taunted and lunged at John with an axe. John managed to block the first blow but he was caught off guard when Crito slashed at his feet and only narrowly dodged it.

darr maa rushed over to help untie ashnii, she removed the gag first. " how are you doing? She asked kindly.. ' it appears the guys have come to rescue us..' she said..
Nicula ran the guard threw with her blaede before taking on another pair..

Darman decided to get in close for his next few attacks, putting his crossbow away he activated some serrated blades built into his gauntlets. Rushing into the fight

nicula sliced at the guards facing her, parrying their blows as best she could, she was not experienced with the blade and showed, she was reduced to hacking at their knees,..

Reynard pounced on Crito, knocking him off balance and leaving a scar on his left cheek as the fox attempted to get his jaws around the man's neck.

"Get your filthy paws off me you fiend!" Crito yelled and shoved Reynard off him before feeling a blade cut through his flesh, though not deeply. Realizing that he was overpowered Crito began to run. "Every man for himself" he muttered.

Yeah a hand would be nice' Nicula said getting tired. she was being forced back buy the guards superior swordsmanship.

Suddenly, a war horn sounded on the horizon and Imperial reinforcements appeared. John didn't slow down, continuing to cut down each Imperial one after the other.

The imperial Nicula had been fighting met his end when Darman planted his gauntlet blades into the guards chest, slicing down and ripping his chest cavity open.

dar maa finally managed to free ashnii of her bonds, then turned pale as the reinforcement appeared- 10, 20, 50. ' ok, the guys need to fall back.. ashnii, i'm going to push you out of the wagon into that brush over there. i'll let them take me to the fort, but hopefully they'll be able to grab you and get you away safely."

dar maa gave ashnii a hug, then pushed her over the side of the wagob into the brush. The reinforcement arrived and climbed on into the wagon " I'm coming quietly dont worry! Dar Maa said raising her claws in surrender. ' and dont try more funny business trhe guard said pointing the blade to her throat.
