Chaka crawled under the covers, to be with Dru, to feel a bit covered up as well as in case she started to feel cold in the night, it would save her having to do a spell to keep warm. She did look over Dru as she got into the covers also, curious what she looked like uncovered.

nicula and sed nues stopped in front of a large, tree that stood ionin the middle of the path, it looked like a large house was built inside of it. the tree itself looked like it was 300 feet tall, at the shortest.. ' wonder how this tree got so big "Nicula said gazing high up into the canopy..

Its hollow though sed nues said pointing to an opening, that showed some stairs . ' lets head inside and cool off" Dar maa was first to enter and headed up the stepos ' it was a lot cooler inside the tree trhasn outside.. and it hiummed with vibrancy and life despite being used as a kind of 'house'

"Nice of you to drop in, Eric" John said casually.

"You know, this place sort of reminds me of my home, the city of Ereyiah." Ashnii muttered.

"May I ask what that was like?"

"It was on an island south of the town of Lascavia. The climate was mostly tropical
and the people lived in houses built into trees such as this one."

John smiled slightly.

"I guess that makes us both islanders." He explained in a friendly tone.

"Really? From where do you hail, John?" the khajiit asked.

"A chain of islands known as the Florida Keys."

"I see."

"I lived there until I was old enough to go out on my own, eventually being tutored in Magecraft by a hermit who lived on the shores. The people in Ereyiah were nice with the exception of a few, including my ex-mate." Ashnii explained.

"Ex-mate?" John asked.

"A khajiit named Dae, he never had any respect for my well-being."

Suddenly, someone made themselves known.

"Well, I wasn't aware we had guests." said a male khajiit who wore a mask over his face as well as a veil.

"Indeed, I wasn't aware there was another khajiit in the province." Ashnii asked in a curious tone.

the khajiit cocked his head.

"I've lived here for five years, madame." He said seductively as he placed his hands on Ashnii's shoulders and began caressing her body.

He soon whispered into the Ashnii's ear, her eyes slowly began to widen.

"You obviously don't know her very well" the khajiit said. He placed a hand on Ashnii's thigh before he felt the cold steel kiss of a blade on the back of his neck.

"You heard the Argonian...back off!" John said, he firmly held his sword to the khajiit's neck to emphasize his point.

"My apologies, human. I wasn't aware she was yours." The khajiit replied and took a few steps back. He then quietly muttered:"Honestly Ashnii, I never thought you would go so far as to think of mating with a human. How shameful of you!"

But Ashnii heard the remark.

"You obviously aren't any different?" She asked the male khajiit.

He looked her directly in the eyes.

"Pardon?"

"All these years and you refuse to change. Am I correct, Dae?" She asked.

This.. THIS is your mate?' Dar Maa started. quite a few things sprung to mind, many of them unprintable. "So .. Dee.. is it? why did you treat Ashnii so poorly/ i thought mates were supposed to care for each other?" Her question was blunt and to the point..
