The cup she held in one hand and did simple spells to make pure water and cool it to a temperature she liked. She then started to quietly eat and drink a she listened.

you are going to be drafted, we are going to free the kingdom from the princes control, step by step. first things first, we need enough manpower to do that. it wont be easy, as you already have a bounty on your heads that would get you noticed very quickly outside of sorra' the wolf, whose name was hermine, said.' fortunately, sorra doesn't keep track of bounties or warrants from other areas.

"As much as I would like to agree, I'm not sure drafting is the best way to go about this. As much as I want to see any land be free. Forcing others into doing it makes you no better than the ones you are against." He explained.

Ashnii felt very sorry for these people and she wanted to help, but could she if it all came down to her? Maybe.

"I'm alright at the front lines, but if you really want me to do some damage, then I'm at my best from the rear of the enemy forces, targeting supply lines and officers as we fight. But...I'd rather be close to Dar any time I can."

the imperial presence there isn't as strong as it is to the north, the further to the north you go, the stronger their presence. basically, theres a 'patch of area that the imperials have weak control over. here its because the city shifts with the trees, there its because the ruling family is very independent, and doesn't like imperials in their city. their fealty to the emperor is basically in name only.
