"So you're the one mentioned in the stories. The beast that roams this tomb." Feli explained.

"I will let you go free on one condition, that you keep the knowledge of my existence hidden form the cursed one." The spider explained.

Qa'Meret nodded aswell. - "As much as I would like to sing stories about today, you have my word I would keep today's events in my memory alone."

Kyo also nodded. - "Apep, that name again, I think the slavers that wanted to capture me mentioned him."

"Well, he is responsible for most of the bad things going on here as of lately. But something tells me we'll hear from him again." - The Khajiit said, he then added. - ".. but at least I'll be happy that Monohan's life will not be in jeopardy because of us."

"If you are serious then I certainly won't tell anyone." Chaka said, working to get free of the webbing as much as she could. She cast a mage light and moved it mentally to around the center of the group to add to the light since she knew most didn't have enchanted items that gave them low light vision or natural khajit vision.

Walker caught the chakram, holding both of them ready. "yes, I see no reason to tell anyone of your existence if you wish to keep it secret and are not evil." He said, relaxing, but staying ready just in case.

"Apep? so that's his name." Monohan muttered. "Well, I'm true to my word." With that the spider made her way to each of the group members, freeing them of her web and lowering them to the ground. "You may sing of this moment, Bard. After Apep is defeated. He slaughtered my children and forced me into this desolate place. " She explained.

we will see to his destruction madam Spider you can rest easy on that" nicula said earnestly. the group was away from the piles of bones, and in front of a tunnel that led further on, and , presumably, out.
- dru Essa was grateful to be freed, and hugged Dar maa then Chaka.
jae was not saying anyything, surprised that not only was the creature able to speak, it had spared them..
Sed Nues bowed to Monohan as she moved forward, then turned towards the opening..

"When these lands are free oif the tyrant, I'll sing songs about you." - Qa'Meret said with a bow. He then put Kyo back on the ground as he noticed the kid no longer grabbing him. - "Nice you are feeling better, Kyo."

"Yes, i am much better now." - said the kid as he now turned to see Monahan and also bowed. - "Thank you for all of your help. I will also tell my siblings about you when I return home."

"Apep?" Walker said mostly to himself, the name he had heard from somewhere, he could almost remember, then he got a brief flash of an image. A large snake battling some human looking creatures, one with a bird shaped head, and others with animal shaped heads. "A large snake? I think I may have seen it before, somewhere, sometime." Walker said unsure.

"I never heard of him being a snake." Chaka said. Then she looked at the spider, "Thanks for your help." She said.

"Yes, thanks." Walker said, momentarily distracted by the Apep name. Then to Chaka, "Maybe a different person with the same name." He said, unsure where his flash of an image had come from, where it had taken place, or when.

Kyo heard the comment Walker did and he stared at him. - "There is something about him... I am not sure what it is." - he said.

"Well, there are lots of people from many parts here on Eymreil. The important thing is to meet those who meant no harm, like everybody in our group." - Qa'Meret replied, but he was curious about Kyo's comment.

"Thank you, Monohan. " John said with a bow.

"It is an honor, child. Come here, I have something that may help you."

He approached the giant spider, gazing into her many eyes.

"Do you have a vial?" She asked, John nodded, taking out a vial that he acquired back in Corral.

With that the Funnelweb presented her huge fangs,both were the size of claymore swords. Gesturing for the boy to hold the vial underneath them as her venom dripped down, falling into the vial.

"My venom is potent. It will help you defeat Apep." She explained as John sealed the vial and placed it in his satchel.

"Thanks, for everything." He replied, before leaving to join the others.

Monohan once again began to ascent her web into the darkness. A bit sad, but soothed. Knowing she would be remembered.

sed nues took out a cake she had baked before leaving and left it on a rock ' A little sweet for you to nimble on, she called up to the ascending spider. then turned to head out of the tunnel.
nicula went on ahead, the tunnel sloped up and soon a breeze began to reach her ' we're almost out! She called to the others..

"Nice to have met you, hope we can meet again." Chaka said waving to Monohan.

"Always nice to meet a new friend. Though we have to part and go elsewhere, hopefully to meet new friends." Walker said, finding it didn't feel odd with the idea of traveling around and having friends in different places instead of them all in one place.

"We best be alert." Chaka said.

"Yes, once we leave this immediate area." Walker said looking around a bit as they walked along.

Qa'Meret nodded to Monohan. - "Take care and thanks for all of your help." - he then turned at John. - "You sure got a great new weapon for your quest, John."

Kyo remained alongside Qa'Meret. - "I still cannot believe such our good luck that Monohan found us, I just hope there will be no more of those Shade monsters further in these tunnels."

Kyo came out of the tunnels before Qa'Meret. - "Wow, the air feels great out here." - the kid said as he threw his hood all behind his head so he could feel the soft fresh breeze, totally forgeting he might very well be the only Rabbit-like person in all of Eymreil ! .

"Ehh, Kyo?" - Qa'Meret said as he just saw the kid doing that. - "you just showed everybody that you are not a Khajiit... or from any other race around here."

Kyo realized what he did as then he stared at all the other people from the group.

a Haren? i've heard of that species' Sed Nues said ' i've traded with them too, on rare occasions, they dont come over here normally except to trade goods with the coastal cities and every so often one or two goes further inland to hawk thier wares. ' a bit like khajit, although a touch more reasonable on the prices of goods..'
- Haren? boy you are rare kyo' Dar Maa said to him with a smile " i think i've seen maybe one of your kind before, he was tall and skinny, with very long ears and crooked teeth' She added. ' he was fair enough with mom on the prices , and those sales helped keep us afloat after corral was destroyed..

"From where I come from, we never had contact with many people from other lands, so I never saw a Haren before until I found Kyo." - Qa'Meret said with obvious relief in his voice, since at least some members of the group did know a bit about people like Kyo.

"I wish the first people I met here on Eymreil were as kind as you are." - Kyo said making a small smile to Sed Nues and Dar Maa.

"I've read about them until I talked to Kyo before I had only seen book illustrations." Chaka said. "I was a bit surprised to see one of the species, but I could see why he hid himself so I didn't say anything, though I didn't get a good look at him before."

Walker didn't seem the slightest bit surprised, as if he had seen lots of alien species so wasn't surprised by any appearance of an alien the species may take, even though he could not remember any of it.

"I guess his species isn't common around here?" Walker asked.
