i think the reboot holds well to the originals spirit, and thats not always true with remakes and reboot. Thee have been far worse revivals.

thats a good question. rule of thumb in those matter is don;t intervene, its a domestic issue, and other people getting involved in domestic issues often ends badly. just ask cops who are asked to step in in such matters. people don;t like other people sticking their nose where it doesnt belong.
