Well like most boards on the surface what users see etc is pretty much the same. I think its in the admin etc areas where a board shines or falls flat. A good example is phpbb compaired to ikonboar or its newer off shoot invision power boards. Phpbb is a nightmare to administrate. Takes 4 times as many clicks and entries to do the same thing you can do on ikb or ipb. I personally wont touch phpbb im leary of even making a account on phpbb. But all its security holes etc are besides the point as admining the thing sucks.

The only real thing diffrent i seen was the portal on the zetaboards. Something most will never use any ways. I say stick with what works and what you know. And if at some time you all decide to move to your own domain you can pack up the board as is by backign up install invision power boards on the domain and unpack. With zeta boards importing this forums data base will be a nightmare at best and impossible at worst.

Then you have the security isues that will exist on zeta boads because its young that just dont exist here.

Well by that large of a ammount yeh but a few are up by a few % And i was mistaken on the series its only up by 1% at the moment. Some of the movies have went down sense last week. Im going to keep watching that meter though.

Something i noticed right off the bat here is there tends to be like 2 and 3 topics started for 1 single episode do to the fact well we all see them at about the same time and rush here to post. Maybe pre make topics and sticky them when the episode airs or create a sub forum for them and add to the list as we find out the names for them. This way wed have single topics for each ep discusion vs 2 and 3.

To bad i dont got a imdb pro account yet or id post exactly why. But its obvious by the big pretty green up arrow and the 50% that its getting more popular in fast order while lion king is down by 2% also up on moviemeter is the series by 2%. Looking good for the franchise in general. My best guess is as i posted some where else that the series is helping to boost the popularity and exposure of land before time.

lol threehorn. Has anyy one tried emailing or other wise contacting ytv? (Im almost 100% sure it was ytv he contacted)They gave one guy permision to post real player recordings of beast machines so that those here in the us could get to see season 2. It was never aired here in the us. The guys site went from like 100k hits a month to a few million. All he had to do was leave the comercials inplace.

If they did end up giving some one here permision it could drive the hits up on this site to sky high numbers. Probably to the point of needing to move to a paid host lol. Pow web would be good those insane fellows who offer 300 gig web space with 3 tb bandwidth per month....

Seriously though its worth a shot esp if they decide not to air in the uk. After all ytv and the like are in this buiss to make money and if for what ever reason a show they have rights to is not aired in a country it makes good buiss sense to let some group or site make the episodes available for download legally. Look at it this way for what ever reason a ytv affiliate in the uk doesnt air a given series and then it starts showing up on a web site for download with permision given from their parent company then they will take notice and start to air the show. They will want a peice of that pie they are not gettign to eat :)

It was funny but once beast machines went up for download cartoon net work started airing the episodes as well about 5 eps after it was avail for download.

Me personaly i hope they make some episodes center around the adults and flesh out their charectors a good bit. Unlike the films that obvious had to center around the kids the series can dedicate a few episodes to the adults with out problems by spreading them out over a season.

I also hope thaat they follow the over all story line and flesh it out and explain it more. We only seen this in the star day celebration episode.

Also im hopeing they have more interaction between ducky and chomper. They worked well togather in escape from the mysterious beyond.
Over all i hope they have more pair ups between the various chars in the show like that. But they do need to show more with ducky and chomper and their relationship. The evens in that episode has obviously brought them closer togather.

They could for example in a future episode have one of the flyers going to get those tree sweats to run off the sharp teeth. Referencing the hiddon canyon episode.

I agree very well done lots of action. Again they are showing that they are on a track towards the first films style. They really smacked the fast biters around this time to.
Im really glad they are putting a fair bit of action in the series. I was really worried about it when i first heard about the series. All the land before times had a good dose of action that i was worried would not come through in the series but they are doing it well.
Almost half of todays ep was fight scenes with the fast biters and red claw.

Everything Changes is a slow, dramatic one, but One of A Kind does go fairly good pace.

You know you can record to even sound recorder on loop back.
Heres something i did once with a dvd movie on my comp. I hooked up a patch cable from my speaker out to my line in. Used sound recorder to record a song from a movie to wav format with line in as chosen source. Worked like a charm.
Some times you just need to get a little creative. Most newew comps will let you do this.

Thats the thing i dont even realy know. I was looking on the ooldest biggest of the wikis for screen captures. Clicking links to various other wikis and i always use middle click to open in new tabs opened a few links in new tabs from various wikis looked and seen one was a forum lol.

I fully expect these forums to get a fair bit more hits and members soon. Just going on what im seeing with the wikis poping up every where its only a matter of time before people start coming here. Theres been a noticable increase int he franchises popularity with the series out there now. Use to search torrents for the various movies as often times they have screen shots of their films showing how good the quality is like a advertisement as a smaller file. Before i was lucky to find one torrent for a given film now you search for land before time and you get listings for every ep and movie. So it sort of shows that the popularity is one the rise big time.

Sad thing is still no screenies out there darn it heh.
 Basically every thing that indicates the popularity of a given film game or tv show is on the rise for land before time. so get ready for trolling on the forums here those twerps always follow the popular titles to. Animated films and their fans are always prime troll chow.

Ill see what i can do about getting some links pointing here. I still have a few contacts heh.

hmm i missed where it said that. So who ever is maintainign this wiki must have seen the new eps and has some more info and that leads me to beleive we get to hear more about ruby and chompers past btwen movie 5 and the series. Very nice looks like universal is going to start tieing the movies togather more. Could be good for the entire franchise.

I did notice that there are far more lft wikis poping up on google now than even 2 or 3 months ago. Shows that the franchises popularity is on the rise. mod and admins might want to get ready for some trolling of the forums as tey get busy. Heck ive have searched for various information on lbft as a franchise and just recently found these forums. And ive been searching now and then for like 5 or 6 years. If i recall i found the link on a wiki no less.

Any ways im hopeing for more eps like escape from the mysterious beyond. That ep was best i seen so far imo. It had more of what the original movie did. It also points out a flaw with the fast biter (raptors) well more so with the pack. The kids and the dinos in the mysterious beyond might be able to take advantage of the fact that thud has a sense of paying back debts. And that he may also be able to be conviced to not attack. This could be developed a bit more and show a way they can beat red claw and his fast biters.

Pretty sure thats right as per order aired for me. acording to titan tv there are 4 more eps before mid season break or end of season depending on how cartoon network airs the 26 episodes they have. Its looking like they are going to have a few reruns between the last 4 on titan tvs listings. But of corse its order is totally whacked any how. Imdb has them meessed up as well. For the most part i dont think air order matters alot here as per the over all story line. But it would seem that escape from mysterious beyond should have aired before the great circle celebration. It shows chomper and ducky shivering.
 Heh leave it to universal to continue showing dinos as warm blooded :) I think as per tv and film they were the first to adopt the idea as fact.

I thought it was the best ep to date. I bet this ep is giving some kids nightmare. Got to admit the scene with chomper and ducky "ducky dont look" was pretty intense. I felt this was more faithful to the original movie in the intensity and emotinal impact. They did not pull any punches in the scene with ducky and chomper. You knew what they were thinking. The scene was long enough to really get the point cross. The fear showed in the animation and the voices.



Ot but this is getting stupid does any one got a ep list in the correct order? Titan tvs listing are all whacked. Not a single ep has been in the right order wich is the reason i started another topic about this episode. For me this episode was episode 10 not 8.

Well this ep was easly the best so far. It didnt pull many punches in the danger front. At one ppoint on the rock ledge chomper tells ducky not to look as he fully expects thud to eat them. They huddle togather in fear of this. They relize that thud is stuck after a couple minutes. Ill let you all run with it and flesh out the synops and pros and cons. But in a way this episode was a bit closer to the original film than any ep or film before it imo. Except i think if this situation had happened in the first movie the dino kids would have finished thud off.

In the end chompers saving thud by partially freeing him does pay off. Thud is the first one to take off from the cave entrances where the kids are hiding. Leading the rest away. It is fully obvious he seen them there. But i guess he decided he owed chomper for saving his life and returned the favor.
