I've never had mine removed, but I do hope you recover and get well quickly.  Did the dentist give you an prescription or any instructions like using an ice pack may be ok?
Yeah, they gave me instructions and antibiotics to use on my way to recovery. I'm trying to follow them word for word to keep the pain and torture to a minimum.

The Fridge / Wisdom teeth taken out...All four of them...
« on: February 15, 2008, 11:38:56 AM »
Well, yesterday I had all my four wisdom teeth taken out. To be honest I was expecting something much worse, but I felt better when I realized they gave me anesthesia and I slept the whole thing through. In the blink of an eye I was in and out of the operation.

And now I'm at home recovering, not fun. I'm sore, sometimes I'm aching, and I gotta eat soft things and nothing solid. What a bore and pain. Every 15 minutes or so I gotta apply packets of ice on my cheeks to help me soothe the pain and occasionally rinse to wash away the blood that I'm bleeding in my mouth.

But at least I'm out of this, now those teeth won't bother me again. They've been bothering me during my vacation at Denver and I finally got those little buggers out. Good riddance.

Ow... *Rubs my cheek* Shouldn't talk much...

Gamers Zone / Devil May Cry (all)
« on: February 13, 2008, 12:41:27 PM »
I own and played Devil May Cry 3, and while I found it fun it really isn't my kind of game. The difficulty in some fights can be really annoying and if you lose you sometimes get set way back that it makes you wanna groan and stop playing. I haven't beaten it yet and it's collecting dust in my closet. I should whip it out and give it a good blow to blow away the dust and play it again.

Computer and Electronics / I Just Installed Vista on a 1.1ghz celeron!

Really? Must be something about your computer then. I went to Littlefoot's house today to visit him and he had Windows Vista and it ran pretty fast. No problems or slowdowns or anything. His computer has 2GB of RAM and it impressed me at how well Vista was running on his computer.

he's a f###### blue hedgehog what is cool about that, now master cheif is a real game hero and marcus fenix from gears of war, sonic's nothing compard to them.
yeah he's realy big <_< sonic game's now are for kid's unless there from like the 80s or the 90s
You're starting to sound like a fanboy...

First off, watch your language around here, you can get banned if you're not careful.

Second, what's the problem if Sonic's a Hedgehog? It doesn't matter what he is, he's awesome with an impressive past of clashing succesfuly with Mario. He's the closest character who had given Mario a run for his money in the past.

And you can't even compare Master Chief and Marcus Fenix to Sonic, that's like comparing apple and oranges. They're nothing alike and you shouldn't even be comparing them. Those two aren't even as big and recognizable as Sonic is and I doubt they will ever be until they do something as huge and revolutionary as Sonic did during the SNES/Genesis era along with Mario.

And so what if Sonic's games are for kids? That's great! I'd rather choose that over the generic shooting fest like Halo and Gears of Wars (No offense, I think those games are great too).

yeah but sega's dead the only think that thay make that's there's is sonic most people think he suck
Most people think Sonic sucks? I'm sorry but I have to facepalm at that statement. Sonic the Hedgehog is a gaming icon and one of the most popular videogame characters. He's practicaly Mario's rival for pete's sakes. His series is a best seller and he was THE most requestes third party character for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

And SEGA is far from being dead. Not all their games are great but they make some very good games as well (NiGHTS, Shenmue, Virtual Fighter, etc.)

It's kind of fun pulling a taunt when you blow your opponent away. It's kind of like your way of saying "owned" XD

My friend does it a lot though, like every time he blows me away even when I manage to get back onto the stage. And to make it even more annoying he imitates the taunt in real life. He always picks Samus so...Yeah XD

I dunno why, but I feel that Sora wouldn't have fit in there. And this is ironic coming from a KH fan, but I just feel the roster would feel slightly out of place with him in it. I don't he is suited for a Smash Brothers game, but I can't really explain why. X_X
To be honest, Sora fits much better than Snake. I mean Sora is kind of cartoony already being in Kingdom Hearts and hanging around Disney characters.

And Sora has a lot of potential for some interesting final smashes. Either change to Valor Form, Wisdom Form, Master Form, Final Form and Limit Form. The possibility and fun factor can be endless with him being in the game and guessing which form you get for final smash.

I believe this game sold half a million on its first day in Japan, that's a pretty impressive first day number in Japan.

As for the clones, I believe I read somewhere that this time they tried to make some minor and big differences in some of their attacks to try to keep them from being complete clones, so that's good news for variety. Even though Toon Link shares his final smash with Link and Falco and Wolf with Fox's, although they might have different attributes and attack patterns.

The entire roster has been revealed already by Japanese people who have the game. And I gotta be honest, I find the complete roster disappointing. Other than Sonic and Snake, the starting roster is better than the unlockables. Most of them are clones.

One certain character in the unlockables has me baffled. I mean, to me what were they thinking? How can it fight when it does so little to begin with? I'm not going to spoil anything to those who don't want to be spoiled, but in my opinion they kind of messed up adding this guy to the roster when they could've added someone much more capable.

The Fridge / Going to Denver for Christmas

Thanks everyone, I had a really good time. I'll eventually have pictures of the trip up on the boards  :D

And no. Despite living in a low altitude place like Puerto Rico, I didn't find any difference in breathing up there in Denver.

Gamers Zone / Saddest Game Moments?

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams' real ending. It didn't make me cry, but it was a sad moment.

I mean, you realize that by defeating Wizeman all Nightmare will be gone, including NiGHTS who's a Nightmaren, and even still you fight and defeat him. Then you witness NiGHTS dissapearing and Helen and Will waking up in tears crying that their friend who helped them overcome their fears is gone forever, it really made me feel sad for them.

Well, I'm back! It feels so good to be home, but I had a great time in Denver with my uncle. I braved the cold and played in the snow XD

Denver was beautiful, especially the Rocky Mountains. I would love to go there again. I'm gonna miss that place, and my uncle too.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...

Tomorrow morning I'm departing for Denver. This one month vacation will take me from the warm climate of Puerto Rico to the chilly, snowy mountains of Denver!

Finally, after years of wishing and hoping I'm going to see actual snow! I'm so excited, can't wait!

Until then, see ya January 20!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Gamers Zone / BEST GAMES EVER!
« on: December 11, 2007, 04:58:59 PM »
These are from my opinion from games that are still not on the list.

1) Sonic Adventure (Great levels and good variety with different characters)

2) MegaMan X8 (This game got everything right from MegaMan X since the first three MegaMan X games. The difficulty can be frustrating though.)

3) Super Mario Galaxy (Awesome music and gameplay)

4) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney / Justice for All / Trials & Tribulations (Hilarious courtroom shenanigans and quirky characters and epic moments make this trilogy an instant classic.)

5) MegaMan Battle Network 3 (The pinnacle of the Battle Network series. A handful of endgame secrets and a great storyline)

6) Okami (I loved this game. Great Japanese culture and legend references. The storyline is great as well.)

7) Metroid Prime (This game wowed everyone with its transition from 2D to 3D and into a first person perspective.)

8) Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Link's first DS adventure is pretty unique and creative with its puzzles and combats. Great use of the touch screen.)

9) Elite Beat Agents (A rythim game you can take everywhere that's addicting and fun. Warning, your touch screen may die if you put too much pressure into it XD)
