Enjoy!
A Long Way from Home: Prologue:Littlefoot and his friends were starting to get the idea that there is little else they could do in the valley. They have been living there for so long that everything big and small to explore had been performed and were starting to get quite bored about the same day-to-day routine. The only place else was the Mysterious Beyond; however they knew every square centimeter of the Mysterious Beyond that was a day’s walk from the Great Valley and any further would get their parents attention that they were gone.
“Do you guys have any ideas?” Littlefoot asked with a depressed tone in his voice.
“Don’t look at me!” Cera answered with her usual sarcasm.
“I can’t think of anything, nope, nope, nope!” Ducky answered.
“Me have nothing Littlefoot.” Pertie said flying towards Littlefoot while Spike shaking his head back and forth indicating that he had nothing either.
“I’m sorry Littlefoot.” Chomper said, apologetically.
“I have no idea, ideas I have not.” Ruby said with her usual context of speech.
Littlefoot sighed as he covered his face with his paws and then uncovered one of his eyes and noticed that the Bright Circle was coming down signifying that the day was coming to an end.
“Ok, we should go home now.” Littlefoot said to his friends, in which they all agreed to.
“Alright, last one there is a scaredy-egg!” Cera called out, challenging her friends to a race.
The others all started to run across the field leading to their nests then Cera hollered out to her friends behind:
“Can’t catch a Three-horn!”
As soon as Cera uttered those words there were a series of bright flashes just in front of Cera and a sparkling light object appeared. Littlefoot called out to Cera to stop but she wasn’t paying attention in her usual pride and entered to object and disappeared. Littlefoot and the others screeched to a halt in stunned amazement of what just happened.
“Where’d she go?” Petrie questioned while clinging on to Littlefoot’s neck.
“This doesn’t look good, good this does not look” Ruby said, entranced of what lay in front of her.
“We got to go in after her!” Littlefoot stated boldly.
“But Littlefoot we don’t know where Cera is and it is going to get dark soon.” Ducky said, expressing her concerns.
“Guys, we are in the Great Valley, what could happen?” Chomper postulated to the others stating that it was perfectly safe.
Then Spike started to grumble; trying to get everybody’s attention. Nobody noticed until Ruby glanced off her back to see that the object was getting dimmer. She realised immediately that it was getting weaker and could disappear, leaving Cera trapped possibly forever and then shouted:
“It’s disappearing!”
Then the others noticed and then Littlefoot, with Petrie clinging on for dear life bolted into the object and disappeared. The others were quick to follow into this strange object and into the unknown. Littlefoot and the others found themselves in pouring rain, in the dead of night when seconds before it was relativity bright and without a cloud in the sky. Then Littlefoot saw Cera laying unconscious in front of a tree just outside the object, which was by now osculating erratically. Littlefoot grabbed Cera by her tail and started to drag the unconscious Three-horn back through the object and to safety. The rest of the gang pitched in and started to bolt toward the object.
“We are almost there!” Littlefoot mumbled.
Unfortunately just before reaching the object, it disappeared and they smacked into a tree that was directly behind it. Stunned and shocked the gang quickly realise the situation they are now find themselves in.
“How are we going to get home?” Ducky questioned then Chomper corrected Ducky’s statement:
“That’s IF we can even get home!”
