The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

So a friend of mine acquired an HD version of the movie. I was skeptical of his claims but see for yourselves. 720p:

Yep, that's HD. I hope it will be available where I live. And that it won't cost too much.

Are these just from the HD scenes Universal has on youtube now?

I have no clue where he got it. I've been looking for a copy on the internet with no luck. It's really quite nice in HD. So is the audio quality. And Petrie, Blu-rays aren't as expensive as you think. The new 3 disc Harry Potter blu-ray is 19.99. The DVD is only a single disc plus that stupid ultraviolet copy. It is $6 less.

It still looks like an old crap movie, but it looks a hell of a lot better than my regular DVD.  Here's to hoping they release an HD version here.

:cheers
The enhancement enhanced some flaws probably found on the cels. At one point, I saw a scratch in one frame.
Edit: My friend's friend downloaded it. I will not post or PM the link (not sure if against the rules). I will inbox my email address. If you want it, of course. A small note: it's an .mkv file. So if you want to watch it, you'll need the codec.
Edit: Silly me. PM me YOUR email.

I think the files are rendered wrong.  The main reason I say this is because I do have the codec to watch the video format at hand, (Another video with the same format working properly proves this.) but for some reason, the ones you gave me won't play.

So, what do you think the problem may be?

I couldn't guess. I use VLC to play media files not native to WMP. They all work 100% of the time.
Edit: Played it using WMP and everything was fine, although WMP doesn't give the option to disable the subtitles track included in the file.
