Should characters die in a later film?

I always noticed as a kid that movie 1 was the only 1 where a good character died...should that happen again? in anothe sequel?

yes, death is a p[art of life, it nearly happened in journey through tyhe Mists when Grabdpa Longneck became ill..

I did have the Old One be killed in a fanfic of mine.  So, yes, I'm open to it.  

However, I don't want any member of the Gang of Seven to actually die.
